Atmosphere was very welcoming, a big thank you to the team as well the food was delicious. Rooms were clean and cozy. We got there late at night and to our surprise apparently just in time for a generous portion of stewed beef and mash potatoes with some drinks followed by some Berry cake - delicious meal. Bacon, eggs and fresh squeezed Orange Juice & coffee in the morning. Fantastic, thanks guys!

Shelley was an amazing and thoughtful host whilst the owner was on leave. The personalised service and hospitality and meals made our trip that whole lot more enjoyable. Rooms and showers were great and beds were super comfortable, the best country stay we have had in the Barraba/Bingara region. Thank you team

Stopped by for a night at the Playhouse Hotel on our road trip to Mudgee. So glad we did. We loved this place. Andrew the owner is delightful, a wonderful host who goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy your stay. The hotel itself is beautifully renovated. We stayed in a family room with a queen bed for us and an adjoining room with 3 beds for the kids. The value for money was incredible. We also had a home cooked meal for dinner and a beautiful breakfast in the morning. This is country hospitality at its best. Make the detour to stay at Barraba. It’s well worth it! Make sure you check out the murals and the silo art in Barraba. We hope to visit again soon.

Any one who dreams of running a guest house should book into the Playhouse and take note of everything Andrew does. On departure you should be armed with all thats required to run a small business.Our second stay there only added to the wow we remembered from our first visit. Hats off to Andrew in every respect. Thanks so much .

Wonderful evening - glass of wine with dinner out under the stars!Andrew just the best host.Room - queen size bed very comfortable with beautiful linen- well appointed generously sized ensuite!Loved to have stayed longer. Hit the road the next morning after eggs and bacon, freshly squeezed OJ and great coffee!Well worth a trip away from the big smoke!!

Wow fantastic place to stay beautifully appointed rooms, very comfortable beds. Lovely building fabulous breakfast and excellent coffee. Host Andrew is so incredibly friendly and welcoming and Shelly made us a beautiful breakfast. Can't rate highly enough. We are looking forward to going back for a movie and a meal.

What a gorgeous place with friendly, considerate staff and clean fresh linen in spacious rooms. The coffee was the best I've ever had! Highly recommend
