Birkenstock Soul

I've been wanting to buy a pair of sandles for an oversees trip. So I went along to Birkensoul at Petersham.I was pleasantly surprised with this little store. They had a good range of styles and colours. The service was great. After trying many pairs l settled for a fun red pair. I had a lovely chat with Peter. I hope I got the name right.Very happy with my purchase & the friendly customer service.

Rude staff, ignored me and served others while I waited then dismissed me. Laughed with other customers that I had thought my original Birkenstocks were leather, telling me they weren’t. I will never return. Do yourself a favour and get shoes online.

Almost no stock availability, staff wouldn't let us reserve a pair, even if we paid for them. Not very helpful. You'll have better luck finding Birks online, I ended up ordering a pair from England and they were 25% cheaper even with delivery!

Woman working there was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Went in with a friend to ask about a style we had seen online with the intention of buying that style, possibly another style each depending what they had in stock. As soon as my friend mentioned the website the woman asked us to come back another time because there were other customers (1 person waiting outside) and COVID restrictions, didn't even bother asking if there was anything else we wanted. At that point I left the shop because I felt she didn't deserve my money, but my friend pressed to try on some. She continued to be rude throwing the two sizes my friend asked to try on the floor, making it clear she thought my friend was a waste of her time as she thought she would buy from the website. At that point my friend had had enough and got up to leave. You know what perhaps we will buy from the website but we won't be buying from here, that is for sure.

Great experience. Staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. My wife and I stopped in to get shoes for both of us and it was incredibly easy - they measured us up, made some suggestions based on our preferences and our feet and had us on our way in no time.

Bought the wrong size online so went instore to check what my correct size was. The staff were so rude to me! When I was about to try on a shoe they guy said lets first measure your foot so you don’t “destroy the shoe” how would I destroy the shoe?! He then measured my foot and I was given a shoe to try on then the lady said that’s enough don’t want you to “stretch the shoe” I had them on for 5 second?!I do have wider feet and I am a bit over weight why am I being shamed for my feet and body size?!Absolutely disgusting couldn’t believe how poorly I was treated! Shame on you Birkenstock for allowing your staff to shame paying customers!

Really bad customer service, the lady we spoke to wasn’t interested at all in helping us. She was cold, unwelcoming and seemed like she just wanted us to leave. Understandable that stock is low however we went in definitely wanting to buy any pair but she didn’t even give us a chance to think or have a look around.Won’t be coming back ever, wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here. Saw the last two recent one star reviews and we thought we’d give it a try but what a waste of time.

Absolutely outstanding customer service. Ordered and paid online, received a phone call within an hour of placing order to confirm, and item was delivered within a week. This is why you support small business!

It is a small store with limited stocks. One could possibly dididn't find the desired shoe size. Best idea would be to enquire over the phone first about the shoe size availability before visiting to the store. The owner of the store was very helpful and courteous.
