Gerry Wubbels Automatics - Repco Authorised Car Service Gateshead

My 2016 Holden Cruze got its first Auto Transmission service from Gerry Wubbels. Muswellbrook Motors suggested I take my car to them as they are very good at what they do and I can at least say from a very happy recipient of their services that for only 90 minutes and $317 I am extremely happy. Also the people there are so very friendly and lovely, it's amazing I had never heard of them before.

Took my gearbox to be repaired $850 later and the mechanic turns round to me & says your bands are on the way out . I said if that’s the case why didn’t you replace them while the box was out .His reply no they ll be fine a little bit of life left in themWasn’t happy with the gearbox hardly drove the car told them I d return it car maybe did 50km between visitsReturned the car they pulled the gearbox out stripped it down told me it was stuffed because the bands had burnt out .$4000 later pick up what is meant to be a reconditioned gearbox was leaking profusely from front main sealDidn’t shift properly , hinted at the lights so you had to stand on the brake just garbageTook it back again they agreed to recondition it again .just picked it up they had just rebuilt it .Totally disappointing car doesn’t go into park now .Steer clear of this place ripoff & work standards below a first year apprentice

Had a rather disappointing experience with another garage which was an authorised dealer/garage for my car and felt like i was being take for a ride so decided to get a second opinion and happy I did. Garry, Dale and the team there did a fast and professional job saving me 20% on the first quote from the dealer for the exact same job plus extra safety tests and finer work done. On another matter they saved me over $1500 as i suspected i was being duped and a simple fix was all that was necessary. Finally, a bunch of mechanics I can trust. Easy recommendation.

Well car clutch died rang around thought got good deal rang back asked for quote again man said will ring back didn’tSo I rang back end of day and quoteI gave u quote I said sorry forgot and reply was Man U are braking my balls!!Hence I found someone else

Great customer service! First brang my car here from the recommendations of NRMA after an issue with a repair completed in Victoria by RACV. The team sorted it all out straight away and dealt with the insurance company on everything. I’ve since brought my other car in which had an ongoing a/c issue which multiple previous auto elec and a/c specialist could not figure out. The team here sorted it first go and it is running better then ever. Good communication and quality customer service, highly recommend.

I was in Newcastle for an event and unfortunately my 2015 Holden Cruze begun having coolant issues on my drive home.It was a Sunday so I parked up at the nearest mechanic which so happened to be Gerry Webbels.When they opened the next day I contacted them via telephone and despite their availability they made time to diagnose my issue and get me back on the road ASAP.Sensational service and the work was completed to a high standard. Ongoing contact throughout the process made it easy to understand what was occurring and how to prevent it in the future.

Amazing service. This is the first time I’ve been to Gerry Wubbels. I phoned Gerry Wubbels about my car as it was playing up so Gary came to my house that afternoon to have a look at it and he knew straight away what was wrong with it. He suggested not to drive it and get it towed up to their repair shop. I did organise it the next day and Gary rang me in the afternoon letting me know that the car was ready and explained what was wrong and what they did. Very reasonable and so professional and would highly recommend them

got referred to this place by my mechanic saying they were good and would look after me. Didn’t make it past the front desk. once i explained that i had been referred and wanted to explain the problem to a mechanic and get further information about it ie prices and timelines. I got took there was no one available to talk to me but i could make an appointment for 2 1/2 weeks away. Not very helpful at all

I always look forward to getting my car serviced here. They are always lovely and help me with any weird queries I may have and they do not make me feel less for doing so. Absolutely can't recommend this place enough!
