This is a great place, nice sized rooms and clean, friendly staff and breakfast and dinning up to a good standard. parking is available and as we got there early we were allowed to park there as we visited the city center. It 's location just out of the city is ideal if you don't feel confident driving in the center, as the tram stop is 50 meters away and run frequently, about a 10 min trip. Thanks to all the staff and we will be sure to stay with you next time we have to come down to Melbourne.

The staff are excellent, the service was really good in most instances & the breakfast buffet was wonderful. I really enjoyed interacting with the friendly & helpful people.Sadly, I'm too disabled to walk the distance to & from the tram stop in this location, thus I outlaid a lot of $$ on uber/taxis.Also, while there is a small swimming pool, it was not fully topped up with water, the ladder was very shaky, & the pool surround is unfinished. I injured my foot & knee on the underside of this area while getting out of the pool.Despite reporting the dark-coloured mould in my bathroom, it appears nothing was done to fix this. Also, in order to run the (very small) bath, I had to climb in and get my feet wet to get the water running. Bath was also shallow.

We've stayed a few times here now, with the proximity to the childrens hospital being our main reason to visit Melbourne, but would stay here if we visited anyway. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, and car parking is good even in a big 4x4. Staff have been very friendly as well, and we had dinner in the adjoining restaurant which was also pretty good, as well as the breakfast bar , which the kids enjoyed the yoghurt and fresh fruit. Would recommend for price, location and value.

Lovely staff and fantastic food, lift a bit dodgy needs to be cleaned as first thing you see before your room

Good location. Good reception service. Good budget price came with breakfast. Parking on site for AUD 25 daily which was a good price. However, this hotel was dated and the elevator was quite scary. It was slow and the level where the elevator stopped was not consistent with the floor when the door opened. It adjusted the level after the door opened. The room was small. The bathroom was tight. The shower door and bathroom door cannot open at the same time. They would bump into each other.

For the business traveller, fair at best. Very old and showing its very old age everywhere you look. Basic rooms, empty old bar fridge with not even a bottle of water, busted tables, and no USB charging ports in the room (its 2023 guys!). Nah, they should do better at these prices for a big brand hotel.

Arrived at the hotel very early with the only expectation to be able to park our ca and leave our bags before heading out to the city. The service was wonderful and they allowed us to access our room immediately, including the upgrade as a platinum member. The hotel is an older building however beautifully maintained, clean and tidy. Our room was huge with lots of space and a large renovated bathroom. Despite facing the main road it was very quiet also. The only downside was the curtains allowed only for blackout or open. When open people on the street could see into the room, when closed the lights needed to be on. A privacy screen or blind that allows natural light and ensures privacy during the day would be the only improvement I would make to the room. The car park was spacious and had plenty of room for our large vehicle. It was an easy walk down into the Melbourne CBD and there is a lovely park over the road for a walk at any time of the day.We had dinner and breakfast in the onsite restaurant. Service both times was lovely and there was a decent choice at quite reasonable process. Enough gluten free options were available to give some choice for both meals. Breakfast did require a request for the gluten free bread which arrived quickly.Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would gladly use this hotel again.

The room was adequate, but could do with better curtains to block the light. The bed was great. Service was good, friendly staff, great breakfast, but having a set price is very unfair on people who don't eat much then. But I can recommend it as a good place to stay, close to public transport.
