The Legal Service Commission of South Australia has good service. The reception staff were friendly. We have seen Lawyer Rohan three times for different issues. He is great lawyer. His advices helped us so much

Extremely rude personnel's to talk to over the phone, if they answer the phone. They have sent my mail to a wrong address and discontinued a service without my request or even being bothered to contact me. They are not responsible or reliable, and need a complete overhaul. Do not recommend.

Since losing my 4 beautiful children in February 2020 I have counted on the advice of the great folks on the LegalChat service. Navigating my way self-represented in the Supreme Court and Magistrates Court would not be possible without them. Like all public services there will be times in peak demand where your sense of urgency may not match what they can provide but they are there willing to help — that’s what matters. Please keep up the good work.

Have seen Ben twice. Second time had to tolerate rolling of eyes, putting his head back, leaning back into his chair. Well we are sorry we are not in the legal field and DON'T understand everything like lawyers would. There is alot more to our concern that we were told not to share by others prior to seeing LSC.............. Why would we remove our security cameras when they are there to 1. protect our home and 2. protect us from what we have had to endure over the past 5 years??? Evidence of our security cameras have already been provided to the courts in other matters which we won...... BAD advice on Ben's part........ He was shown what our CCTV see and as he was able to see they are NOT INVADING PRIVACY AT ALL, our security person knew how to install them NOT to INVADE the other person's privacy....... Ben did not apologise for accusing us for invading someone's privacy after being shown it was NOT the case. If required we DON'T want to see Ben again. As he lacked the patience, empathy for elderly people................

Be warned do NOT use a lawyer from Legal Services Commission for family matters their first duty is to the court, and the fcfcoa objective is to steal children from parents, causing an extending litigation to extort their own clients and or the tax payer financially. research on the 12 presumptions of court. If you have a court appointed icl by the court this is deliberately ordered by the court to assist stealing your child, the lawyer is sworn to the Bar, the Bar state's on their own website lawyers have an intimate relationship of collaboration with the judge and other lawyers, the court appointed icl forge documents to mislead psychological assessments, covertly communicate with the other parties lawyer's and advise child contact centres on how they want the report written and which parent to favour to prolong court proceedings. LAWYERS DUTY IS NOT TO ASSIST WITH A CHILDS BEST INTERESTS OR TO THEIR OWN CLIENT.IT IS TO THE COURT AND THE BAR.

The legal advice service staff Tracy was super helpful! She responded fast but so nice and patient to explain, and offered the various knowledge and information from legal aid website accurately. You may need more courage to make an appointment through phone.

Unfortunately found the Grants team over the phone rude. Staff need to be better trained in customer service and to be more sensitive, especially with Domestic Violence victims.

I have rung these people at various times for basic legal advice. Every time, they have been very rude and their advice is of very limited usefulness. They are obviously legally trained people who haven't got the experience of full lawyers in a real job and don't know how the law works in the real world. Actually, what they have told me has always been only what I could have read on the website of the relevant department. Utterly useless. The government should provide much better legal advice for people not wanting to spend thousands every time they need advice.5 months later: I rang up again about something else and although the woman was actually courteous, she hadn't even heard of the basic facts in the matter I wanted advice about. The attitude of the organization seems to be that it is free to the users so it may as well be useless.

Horrible and rude reception staff. Refused Mr entry even though I had valid medical mask exemption.I ended up being forced into a phone consult even through I have a hearing problem and could barely hear the lawyer on the other end.His legal advice was limited and he had to do some research" on the matter before giving me any more advice. I left feeling defeated and in the same position I was when I went in."
