I never had a Volvo but for over twenty five years my Renaults, Peugeot, Suzuki, Ford and Subaru were professionally maintained by Ron and then by Mick of Rontons.

Was originally happy past service, however being informed after a service that all brakes and disc needs replacing even though the rear was replaced just 8 months ago by Rontons and the car had done less than 8000KM at cost of $1300+ was a disappointment. Even worse when we gave the owner a second chance to explain, the response was that the rear wear faster than the front and the way we drive caused it to wear faster. I'm alittle surprised that a car used for school drop off will cause them to wear that quickly. Got a second inspection from RAA approved service and they said the rear does not need replacing and only had 10% wear and the wear should be same however the front usually takes most of the wear than the rear.. Our confidence was shattered.

I recently bought my first Volvo second hand and within weeks had issues. I called various Adelaide Volvo specialists with responses varying from wanting me to bring the car in and/or not really bothered to discuss. Ronton's on the other hand helped me over the phone and even offered for me to trial a part - unbelievable service!I always try and do all my own work and so for a company to not try and make a sale or blow me off was most welcome. Turns out they were right and the part was not at fault but I did find the fault with further work and bought a second hand part from them for a very reasonable price which got me back on the road.Grateful for their help and I see myself using them for parts or harder fixes and would recommend them to anyone else with a Volvo. I know I plan to use them for future issues.
