Great walking tracks out in nature, only criticism is to Parks Victoria as we found some of the trails were not signposted very well and at times it was ambiguous as to which way to go. We also saw several other groups who were stuck too. If Parks Victoria could improve that then it would be an even better experience for all.

It's alright. Greatly maintained facilities. The trails are well maintained, despite the enormous amount of rain we've endured.Worth a trip for sure, but not sure it'll be my regular tracks though.

Brisbane Ranges is a really nice place to go. Have been several times but word of advice if ask google to navigate to Brisbane ranges it will take you to the center of it. Once hit a dirt road there is little to no chance of turning back. If you are in a car its quite possible to do some damage to the underside eg sway bars, etc depending on how low the car is. I wouldn't enter any road that starts to look like a single lane as it does get quite steep in some areas. Its quite doable in a car but just expect the bottom to scrape a bit, perfectly fine in a SUV / 4x4 with ground clearance. Very peaceful area, lots of birds and wildlife, quite a few nice picnic areas. I think some of the roads should be changed to Trks' as thats what they are, and they are bidirectional so if there is a car coming the other way, it could be quite tricky esp in some areas where its very narrow and a drop off to one side. It quite possibly could be where stuffed scenario. or someone has to flip the coin and do a loot of hairy reversing.

Lots of great walking tracks there but make sure to be ready for the remoteness: snack, water, map, walking sticks,...

The walk was challenging in places due to getting to the top. But the views were worth it. The dam is worth a look also. Enjoy the adventure, just 50mins from Melbourne CBD.
