D&Y Superfinish

Vehicle was towed here after an accident. They promised to have a quote to the insurance after 2 weeks as they were very busy. We enquired what is happening after 4 weeks they told us that the insurance is moving the car to another repairer. When we checked with the insurance they said they did not give instruction to move the car and did not intend to do so. When I went to see them the owner / manager said he was not going to waste time to quote and then the insurance move the car closer to where I live. I tried to explain that we needed the quote and we have now wasted a month. He then said he is not going to quote and work on the car. He was very rude, I told him I understand how they are still in business, I further told him that I have dealt with smash repair shops a lot of times in my life and this was the worst that I have ever experienced.

Had an emergency repair to fix bumper bar. Spoke to Ivan how was so helpful and brought car down on Friday morning to see if they could fix. They were so helpful and were able to look at it immediately while we waited. Josh the manager came out to look and from what I thought was going to be an expensive fix, said he would try for a simpler fix. The repair was a top job the car looked brand new and saved me thousands. Huge thank you. Highly recommend.

I had Terry assist me towing my car from an accident scene, he was very professional and empathetic fron the very start, put my mind at ease and even waited with me and my belongings (the contents of my car) for over an hour until he knew I had a safe ride home. I cannot recommend highly enough, he made an awful day much less stressful and helped me no end, his conversation was very interesting and distracting from the chaos.

Pity they don't know how to wash a car properly or contact a car owner if the car is going to be longer than first told. Spider web on the mirror and vent on the bonnet full of leaves, but car had just been washed... I don't think so.

Really impressed with the work you have just completed on my car. I had kangaroo damage to one side and general damage an 8 year old car would have on the other side. Superfinish made my car look like new again. I was looking to update my car, but i have now decided to keep it. Absolutely amazing work and the staff gave wonderful customer service. Thankyou

A month on and still waiting on a quote, after twice leaving phone numbers and email addresses. At the last phone call our quote was in the system but still had not been sent to us. Ended up using someone else with a more prompt and professional response. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

They repaired my wifes Toyota and the colour was not right. They offered to fix it which was good. But when we picked it up it was the same. I had placed tape on the underside of the car over panel joints that had to come off to be fixed.Surprise surprise, tape still there. Yet Josh and Ben said it was done perfectly. Lies. Never going back.

Josh the owner and his staff are abusive!!!They made a claim that my car despite it being towed here could be driven until the parts were ordered 3-4 weeks.Yet, they were not prepared to put that in writing.The female that works there stated to NRMA that she couldn’t guarantee once I drove out of here that the car wouldn’t suffer mechanical issues.Josh on the other hand on the phone stated the car was drivable, didn’t need towing and could be driven until the parts were received.They stated they were only panel beaters, and not mechanics, which is why they cannot mechanically assess the car.STAY AWAY from this place even if your insurer is affiliated with them!!!
