Visited to look at garden soil. Approached by salesman and told him I'm after buying a load of soil for spreading underneath general vegetable patches and citrus / berry fruit tree gardens in my backyard and told him exactly what I'll be planting. The salesman seemed to know his stuff so trusted his recommendation and believed he knew what he was talking about when he told me about their soil source and the high sales of their recycled soil product. I bought a load of their garden soil and spread it over my yard, then spent 2 months planting vegetables, citrus trees and berry trees and bushes with additional soil types placed on top of the Wyee Landscape Supplies garden soil.Sad to say nothing grew once transplanted into the new garden beds. Adding fertiliser, compost and mulch helped keep plants alive but it seemed unusual and all wrong as though the whole garden was nutrient deprived so I started testing and discovered the Wyee Landscape Supplies soil underneath everything was extremely alkaline with a pH of 9. That level of alkaline means the plants can't absorb nutrients. I'm so angry with Wyee Landscape Supplies. I have to now dig up the whole yard and scrape all their rubbish garden soil off the land and start again from scratch. I know how to reduce the pH level with sulphur but I can't when the bad soil is buried under good stuff and planted out and mixing / correcting pH levels between plants would be harder and more difficult to fix than starting again. I'm saving as many plants as I can by temporary putting them into pots while I dig out the Wyee soil from under the composts and mulches. I'm putting the ridiculously alkaline soil aside and plan to return it to Wyee Landscape Supplies with a hired bobcat along with a formal letter of complaint and identify the salesman.If you're reading this please beware it is now known that Wyee Landscape Supplies are ruthless liars and will happily sell local rubbish tip compost scraps as recycled" garden mix / soil that your "plants will love" and tell you this to your face with a smile while taking your money with total disregard of the problems they're selling you."

Wyee Garden Soil destroyed my plants in the garden. We bought garden soil in last June for our garden. The lady told my husband that it was the premium soil for flowering plants. I spent days spreading the soil and planting my roses. The soil was rock solid that any watering was futile as water started running off, than soil absorbing it. All my gladioli bulbs and plants which flowered for years are dead as they were stressed I believe. Roses which were abundant until then has gone down hill. No fertilizer or mulching has saved them. Heartbroken as every rose has now canker disease. I work full time. Gardening is my passion. I have no time to rip all the Wyee nursery supplied cheap , disease ridden soil to replace with new soil. This is very wrong to sell inferior products to people who trust you. Wyee Nursery should be ashamed of such practices.Nothing will save my plants and loss of dollars I spent to re-vitalise my garden. Please don’t do this to your customers Wyee Nursery.
