Highton Removals & Storage

Asked for more money and then did not complete the job. Though I received a quote for 'house move' but just before job is finished we are told we have met our quota of boxes and need to pay for additional to be packed - we paid. Box quota was NEVER mentioned in any previous conversation with Highton. After the job was finished we return to the old house to find items left behind in every room (computer, coffee machine, kinds toys, clothing, pictures on walls, cupboards not emptied, etc, etc) several boxes worth, enough to fill the back of two 4x4s twice - not at all impressed. I used removalists several before and never had them leave stuff behind. Hightons attitude once the payment was made was completely different - previously friendly now they are rude and arrogant.

This company just moved us from Geelong to Canberra. Lisa and the management team in the office were excellent to deal with, the contracting process was very easy. The operators were excellent, respectful, considerate, patient and very competent. Alex and Cane were exceptional. Not a thing damaged. I would not hesitate to use these guys again.

Absolutely fantastic service. Very responsive on phone and email. Great price for monthly storage and great customer service.I had my house packed up in SW Vic, stored for two years, and delivered and unpacked in Sydney. Everything was in great condition and the guys are so helpful and quick! Wouldn’t use anyone else

We have had a storage shipping container at this place for 3 years and the customer service we have received throughout this time has been great. The container got delivered and everything was in EC and the staff were very professional.

I emailed this company to get a quote....I was quoted(all fine) then the terrible customer service begins.I was TOLD my time ,in spite of asking for a specific time to arrange for key pick up etc, told no.The move is also a total distance of 1.2kms!Then I tried to arrange around this company as they would not budge...then told they would not deal with me.Outrageous, unprofessional a completely misguided assumption that the customer can have no input into a service THEY are paying for!BE WARNED...DO NOT USE!Have now booked with another company for half the price and they were only too happy to accept an offered time slot.

I did’t have a good experience with this company. When I booked with them I asked about the price. They gave me the price they charge for an hour service. However, when the job was done, They charged me extra. when I asked the reason, they let me know that they charge Depo to depo. Nobody explained that to me when I did the booking. I called and complained, the only explanation was that ‘ every similar company charges Depo to depo’ Which is not true.

This company really knows their stuff. They moved us from Victoria to Hervey Bay QLD and nothing was damaged. NOT ONE SCRATCH. The guys both ends were so respectful of my furniture and homes. They took great care to make sure everything was fine. Even when I thought I was missing a box (Which I did find ) Kym was understanding and assured me it would be amongst my things and it was. From the beginning nothing was too much trouble and I felt comfortable about the whole process. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Outstanding service.

How do you choose a removalist? You talk to them, you listen to how they care about your move, who are you?, what's important to you? It's not rocket science to care, these people do. My 97yo mother was relocated from Grovedale to Eltham today...it was flawless, caring and perfect. A very important part of her life (and mine!) Thank you!!❤
