Nice little place has a beach side park with BBQ,toilet facilities. Good place for die hard fishing lovers.

used to go fishing here, in the right time of year and tides, a lot of whiting, bream, and flathead can be caught off the beach. some can be rater large, got a flathead in that area 2.7 kg, and a bream just shy og of 1 kg.

It is overall nice, the camp kitchen is well equipped, but the toilets and camp kitchen weren't clean . It is not the cheapest place to stay, therefore I'd expect cleaner amenities.

Nice place to stay for a bit, clean showers, nice cabins, friendly staff! Plenty of beach to explore... go for a scuba dive on the world famous Yongala wreck, close to Ayr to avoid cooking... but bring moz spray!

It is a good spot to take the family, our dog loved being on the beach and having a swim. Facilities are also good, there is a playground, park, toilets and life saving club.

Alva Beach Park
Love this place for kiteboarding, BBQ's and fishing. Kids park is great and there is a toilet block as well as seating, gas BBQ and two tables. Very nice spot for families and picnics. Popular with travelers and grey nomads.

We have been here with low and up tide. What a difference! Low tide we went stand up paddling, if you do that for the first time this place is perfect in the first part of water.
