Om Som Yoga & Ayurveda

One of a kind Studio and teachers!!!I visited Om Som in May last year and was instantly taken aback by how welcoming and kind the owners and teachers were, and how amazing they are at holding space and being supportive. Not only is the studio beautifully decorated and well laid out. But the teachers and the classes are so well executed and very much in line with traditional Hatha yoga and Ayurveda and truly understand yoga! I’ve been to several studios over the years, but never signed up as a member to any of them, except for Om Som!On top of that, I also did their 200hr teacher training, and WOW! Not only was it a life changing experience, but the content that was taught was so rich and in depth. I talked to others that have done their teacher training and when I told them the content we covered, they were amazed and said they never covered that level of content in such depth. A true experience whether you go for the classes, the community, or the teacher trainings. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent teachers, beautiful studio and lovely people to practice Yoga every day. Having some experience with yoga and being from Indian background, I was looking for a yoga studio which is authentic and offers traditional practice. And I think I have found one. Have an excellent experience so far and I am looking forward to explore range of other services like workshops, Ayurvedic massage, online classes the studio offers.

Amazingly comfortable rustic open space with Paige and Aaron the owners being so welcoming and accommodating. Aaron's knowledge of the human body is way above par and he has helped me to progress in my cardio through breathing techniques. Paige's treatments are incredibly relaxing and and all of the teaches are so friendly.

I have done my teacher training and yoga classes with Omsom. I do not live in the area however I drive a fair distance to be educated by this school and receive a unique traditional experience with my yoga practice . I’ve taken my friends hereas well and they feel such genuine wamth. If you want to experience And eastern way of yoga and not a watered down to western society yoga, you have more than just a yoga class, you will have an amazing experience. The culture in this community is absolutely beautiful you will feel a sense of warmth and acceptance. Teachers highly experience and live for yoga. Couldn’t recommend more thank you so much for showing us your practice.

I completed the beginners yoga course at Om Som at the start of the year. I was blown away by the beautiful studio and fantastic teachers. It's such a lovely space to practice and very traditional which is something you don't see at other yoga studios. I wanted to continue learning more about yoga, so I completed the 200 hour YTT course. Aaron and Paige were so supportive and inspiring sharing their wisdom and passion of yoga. I highly recommend anyone interested in learning more about their practice or teaching yoga to complete the trainings at Om Som.

Traditional hatha yoga at its finest!The team here are amazing. They are warm, welcoming, supportive and friendly.Each team member always greets you with a smile as you walk through the door and all are equally impressive yoga instructors.In my opinion this is the best yoga studio in South East Melbourne and I would recommend Om Som Yoga to anyone who is looking for the teachings of traditional hatha yoga and Ayurvedic medicine.Thanks guys!

The most well rounded yoga studio that is authentic to the core. Wholeness, community and incredible wisdom from Aaron & Paige are some of the stand outs and the feeling of family is alive through every part of this tranquil space.

Every class is very enjoyable practicing yoga at this studio! The atmosphere is calming and peaceful, and the instructors are knowledgeable and passionate about yoga. I have been practicing here for several months now, and I have noticed a significant improvement in my physical strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.But what really sets this studio apart is the sense of community that I feel every time I come to class. The other yogis are friendly and welcoming, and it's clear that everyone is here to support and uplift each other. Whether it's chatting over a cup of tea after practice or attending studio events together, I truly feel like I am part of a strong and supportive community.If you're looking for a traditional yoga studio where you can deepen your practice and connect with like-minded individuals, I highly recommend giving this studio a try.

I have just completed my 200hour yoga teacher training with Paige and Aaron and wow!! What a please it was spending these hours in their gorgeous studio and with their warm hearts.They have so much knowledge of this great tradition, it was an honour to be taught by them.I couldn’t recommend this training and going to the studio anymore !
