We are so lucky to have this cafe in Karalee for friendly catch upsNice outdoor eating area or inside for the aicon and the books. Doggies welcome too and the sometimes have kids toys outside yo share and play.Nice coffee pots of tea and a good range of food available!

Wonderful spot to come and enjoy some time to sit, unwind and meet up some friends.Great outdoor and inside area for you and the whole family.Nice coffee not bitter and the roast is not overly burnt. Excellent areay of tea bookz and food available!Heaps of car parks

A very popular cafe in the Karalee Shopping Villiage.Some issues if you've never been there like trying to source a menu while waiting in line and no one explaining where they are.They hold community active events like sip and paint nights and other activities.The coffee and food are good quality with a mainstream cafe menu catering for all diets and offering half serves.Recently the bookshelves have been placed in their own area so you can shop for books seperate instead of walking around tables with patrons.Outside there was a rug placed in the centre of the outdoor tables with children's toys which I thought was delightful and accommodating for parents with young children.A great concept in a shopping villiage that offers supermarkets, a bakery, op shop, barber plus much much more.The only downfall on our last visit was a 25 minute wait standing in line just to order when we were dining in, with coffee orders monopolizing the counter on a cold busy day.Service is friendly, our giant mugs of coffee and food came out in reasonable time!A great local business!

My partner and I had the chicken schnitzel. It was beautiful but the chicken was very thin. The quality of the food when chapters first opened was great but it’s noticeably getting worse.

Chapters Book Shop, Cafe and Wine Bar
This is lovely venue at Karalee, with both space to eat inside and outside. Nice to have a venue that is also a book/gift shop. Larger groups would be able to dine in.Great food and coffee. One good thing to note is that they do half servings for some of the menu items, which I find good if I am not that hungry.Value for money good. Would recommend to others.

This was my first time here and I was reasonably happy with the food and service. I too wondered what to do about menus when I was lining up but I just grabbed one off a table and read it while I shuffled forward in the line. The menu seemed OK but not imaginative. I guess people here just want “normal” cafe food. The lady at the counter was cheerful and polite. I found a nice spot to sit outside. Plenty of space here and I could have chosen inside if I had wanted. Atmosphere was airy and cheerful. The coffee came quickly and was of good quality. I had ordered the steak sandwich, which came before long. The steak sandwich was average to above average although I did find the steak itself to be somewhat “steamed” rather than grilled, as there was very little caramelisation on the surface of the meat. The chips were good. So was the bread, and the salad was fine. All in all, not bad, although it cost me $30.45 for the sandwich plus large coffee, which I thought a tad on the high side. Summary: a little more passion in how to cook a steak and that would have raised this place to one that I would definitely feel like going back to, even though a little pricey.

Stopped for lunch.Ordered the Mango halloumi salad.Too much green! Hardly any mango and it was in very small soft pieces, no taste and too much dressing. Not fresh at all.Very disappointing.
