Very happy with the service and quality of ramen. We had to wait a bit as we didn’t have any reservations but they were very accommodating. Price is okay too.

This is eel donburi. I was really surprised by the warm and bright atmosphere of the store, and I felt that the Japanese atmosphere came out properly. The store is really pretty, and I was again surprised by the visual of the eel donburi, and I felt happy with the taste. Absolutely will find it again.

Had the tsukemen with spice bomb and chicken kaarage. The broth had a good flavour and was hot but very salty but the noodles and topping came cold. I recommend the kaarage. The service was average I wish they had taken our orders instead of making customers go to the counter because of the limited space in the restaurant.

If you know of ramen you know that Manpuku (Chatswood) is one of the best in Sydney. I won't say that the Kingsford one is like the Chatswood one every time, just that when we went, it really was as good as Chatswood. The great:- the egg. They serve a whole egg and it's perfectly molten - no ooze, more on the done side to molten.- the soup. Signature long name is balanced in taste and texture, thick but not too thick, on the border of savoury, fragrant. I enjoyed the burnt notes and the funk of the black gyokai too.The fun:- noodle thickness is different for different soups, which is a nice touch of detail. Shows that they care.- at $20ish a bowl, they are remarkably in line price-wise with the midrange spots. Did they just not hike prices? In addition to being great ramen they're now a strong contender for value, for what you get.The meh:- food can take a bit of time to arrive. It is what it is.All this is to say that Kingsford and its surrounds are lucky to have access to great ramen, so check it out if you have the cravings.

Im quite disappointed with the ramen after reading lots of good reviews. Have to say that the ramen has nothing special, medium portion but charged aud20 per bowl for pork broth, not even including any eggs! Quite overpriced I must say. Service was quite good but Im sorry to say I probably wont return.

The nearest in my area so become the best. I prefer if they have smashed garlic for condiment though. It was inconsistent as sometimes the pork is outstanding, but sometimes just less than mediocre (but still edible). I prefer the pork based rather than chicken as pork naturally has more flavor. Also prefer salt-based rather than shoyu as shoyu can be added later. Shoyu taste is more in depth.Calamari cheese ball 3/5Long Name (w/o vinegar) 3/5Shio Gara (w/ vinegar) 4/5Tsukemen (w/ or w/o vinegar) 5/5 (quite salty for ppl that dont like salty tho)Shio Tonkotsu (w/ vinegar) 5/5Story short, I am from Indonesia. I am not used to their flavor and I do not think it taste as good as what I have tried in Indonesia (I tried a lot in Indonesia so don't judge me :)). However, my friend from HK said it tastes quite the same with what he always eat before coming to Syd. So after 2-3x eating there, one day I just put more vinegar, it taste exactly the same with what I eat in Indonesia :))).Photo: Shio Tonkotsu

It's a nice ramen place. There are many styles, the old menu was nicer, now it has changed a bit this year. The noodles don't seem as springy as last time, we'll see again.
