the most delicious vegan indian on the gold coast! i’ve been over 5 times and it’s just as good every time. the butter soy chicken and vegan cheese and garlic naan are my favourites!

Temple Of Spices Indian + Vegan Restaurant
I loved the rustic feel, and it felt very authentic and homely rather than tabled and generic like many places. The food complimented the atmosphere and was delicious. I loved that they had goat as an option as other indian restaurants rarely do. Service was friendly and efficient. Portions were well sized and the naans were awesome. As you can see from the photo the food was polished off leaving me happy I chose to eat there for the first time, and I will certainly visit again .

We had a wonderful dinner at the temple of spices, we hadn't booked but the kind staff made their best to find a place for us.We had vindaloo (with beef and vegan) it was amazing! There is plenty of choice for meat lovers and vegan/vegetarian, so everyone will be happy in the temple of spices, I absolutely recommend it!

Great little restaurant with awesome food. We got the $45 per person banquet with medium spiciness. The amount of food included was more than enough. The wife and I got doggy bags and brought the remainder home. The atmosphere was great, the service was good. If you're after good Indian food, definitely give this restaurant a go!

Very hit and miss. Worst butter chicken I’ve ever tasted, best palak paneer I’ve ever tasted. Did take well over an hour for food to come, which with 3 kids was not at all suitable as they were almost asleep by the time the food eventually came. Would not recommend for families.

A place to feed your body and soul, I feel like I’ve been touched by divinity when I come to Temple of Spices. The staff members are always so pleasant and happy, it’s impossible to say that this isn’t my favourite restaurant in the whole country. Easy access via Gold Coast highway just come and be ready to live the dream.

This has, for the past 5 year, been my favourite Indian restaurant hands down. I’ve been ordering it religiously 1-2 times a week over those years. However over the past 6 months quality has bombed! Bombed!! The butter chicken has lost depth of flavour and sweetness, it’s more of a bland homogenous slop now; the cheese and garlic naan (80% of the reason I order Indian) has stopped having an identifiable amount of cheese. The naans used to have sall cheesy strings when pulled apart, but now they’re undercooked and slightly doughy with no cheese. This is despite on numerous order instructions asking for more cheese, being charged extra on top of the ordinary cheese garlic naan price and then still receiving a cheese less doughy naan. Rank! The onion bajjees are the only redeemable factor as far as I can see at this restaurant. I live <1km from this restaurant and at this point I’ve been ordering from any other Indian restaurant at this point, and will say any Indian chain restaurants have a better feed at better value than here. I’d look elsewhere unless this offers unrivalled convenienceUpdate 2 months later:Still the same quality all round, except this time the naan was at least cooked. Payed $7 for the naan and was charged an additional $3 for extra cheese ontop of the regular amount. The naan in question is pictured, as you can see no cheese in sight which is shameless for charging $10

Great tasting Indian food with friendly serviceWe had Samosa and Onion Bhajee to start with, then the Grandma Goat curry for main which was the highlight for sure, the goat was cooked perfectly and our request for medium hot was perfect for us.The breads were perfectly cooked along with the rice, thoroughly enjoyed the meal and when back in the area, definitely will call in again.
