The Birchip Hotel

I chose this pub based on the general area I thought I was going to be at the end of the day and the reviews were good. The room was simple, but then so am I. There were quite a few people staying upstairs that night, which is preferred, as I have stayed alone in a pub and it was eerie! The staff were all very friendly and look you in the eye when they talk to you. That's probably the strangest thing I've said in a review, but that's what I noticed. Good manners go a long way. I had the chicken schnitzel for dinner and I asked for salad and mash. The mashed potato was very, very nice indeed. Chives! The rest of the meal was good too, but I'd come back for that mash!

There was 8 of us for lunch and all loved their meals. Great friendly staff, a definite must!!

I've visited this pub a few times over 8-10 years. Have always got good meals and very friendly service.

Worst room we've come across, advertised aricon rooms but all we got was a fan with no power socket! Poorly presented and unfunctional. We made the right choice and left straight away, didn't stay the night.

Love old pubs. Great building, just needs some love inside. Relaxing beer garden, friendly staff and really good food!

Bath room tap broken. Bath room light broken. There is only 1 shower to share. No aircon in room as advertised. Food was good.

Great meals, friendly service team, and very nice beer garden. I would recommend if you are in Birchip or nearby.They only had one pint glass in the whole pub, so I was lucky that no one else was drinking pints at the time!

Staff were very friendly but The food was unbelievable. I could eat them parmigianas every night and die happy.
