Proserpine Motor Lodge
Good place for a stopover on our way through. Room was very clean and quite well appointed. Bed was comfy. They are in the middle of renovations on a number of rooms but the block at the rear where our room was located was very pleasant. The table and chairs under the shady tree was appreciated.

Booked this accommodation the day before travel as last minute job interview. Ralph was great, very friendly and accommodating. He gave me a quick run down of food options around the town and even let me keep my luggage at front desk while I was away at my interview.Rooms are basic but very clean and have a few nice touches, like fancy coffee sachets, milk and plenty of body wash, shampoo and conditioner.Owners are in the middle of renovating all the rooms, can't wait to check it out once it has been updated!

Proserpine Motor Lodge
We stayed at this hotel on the way back from Cairns to Brisbane. The owners were very friendly and working hard to make this a great place.The rooms are clean and spacious. The shower was great and the beds comfortable. We were glad we stayed here.There is a nice swimming pool which was a pleasant surprise.

Even still recovering from storm, they continue to be super friendly, accommodating, and easy! Not the first visit and won't be the last! Rooms are always clean and parking is great!

Stayed here after our flight was cancelled trying to get back to Sydney. The hospitality was above and beyond great, has a real small town feel, beds were comfy & rooms were clean. With a short walk into town to pubs and supermarkets - would stay again!

This is what I regard as emergency accommodation. We had few choices as we booked only the day before. The place looks like a demolition site. The room was upstairs. It was very basic and all in need of repair. Looked like people had been shooting at the hotel as there were holes in several glass panels. The fridge didn't work. The AC took ages to cool the room. Wasn't even a toaster. It was clean and the bed ok. I had a dip in the pool. The water was clean and refreshing though the surrounds, tiles furniture are all old and seem to be in process of renovation. The man at reception was polite but not helpful.

The staff alone here are worth 5 stars. When we showed up to book and they filled last minute and Katie (I believe?) was kind enough to call other lodgings to attempt to accommodate us. Her father is extremely helpful and kind. Just wonderful people. Get what you give, I suppose.The single rooms are just what you need, great for a pit stop after a day of driving. They are renovating - but Rome wasn't built in a day.

Kate went above and beyond for us again today. Booked a taxi at around 9am this morning to pick us up at 5.30pm. The taxi rang at 5.12pm saying couldn’t get us. Kate had already offered to drip us at bus stop. We had to end up taking here up on her offer. Thank you thank you soooo much Kate. You are one beautiful women.We wish you and your family a beautiful Christmas and happy New Year. One place to differentiate stay at. As I said before top 10 for us.Food at the fish and chip shop next door was awesome.
