Booked a week ago for Mother’s Day lunch arrived at 1:30, ordered lunch. 3pm no food, we ask if our food is coming soon? The woman’s response “ I can’t tell you! we can’t even guarantee we are going to have your ordered meals”. Not great way to have a Mother’s Day! Thankfully we got our money back

A warm welcome from staff sets the stage for this golf club restaurant. You can feel that it’s run by a lovely local family as the kids are welcomed and provided with colouring in.Yes, it’s a golf club so don’t expect a fancy looking place but DO expect a warm welcome and delicious food.Expect local and fresh ingredients……FRESH SEAFOOD from the Iluka trawlers YUM!And it doesn’t end there…. The steaks are awesome too.Thanks for another great meal and welcoming us into your restaurant.

Took a booking for lunch, couldn’t handle the Mother’s Day lunch, lack of staff or leadership in kitchen. Ran out of food and no one on the 10 person table booking could order food due to lack of food in kitchen.

We went had Dinner for my partners birthday. First time there didn't know what to expect. Well for a little town this beats alot of the big town restaurants. The food was amazing, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was quaint. Not too loud so you can talk without your raising voice. I must say the coffin bay oysters that we're flown in were absolutely superb. We had the dozen mixed. My steak was cooked exactly the way I asked, which most of the time it's a hit or miss with other eateries. Will definitely be back. Well done guys. Going good for only been open for a few months. Keep up good work.

My partner Melinda and I visited the Golf Club on Thursday evening, hoping to have a meal. We have been travelling abroad, a little weary, and we were just looking for the familiar and the friendly reception that we have come to depend on from the Golf Club.It was there, of course, the delightful reception from the bar staff always makes us feel at home.Nothing, however, expected or ordinary about the dining experience that we were treated to.Apparently we had lucked on to CJ's opening night!The place was packed. The food was a sparkling delight;light, bright, fresh, generous, tasty.. I'm running out of adjectives to describe how good this kitchen is.Coupled with warm and intuitive wait staff, family members hauled in to help at short notice apparently, it was the best dining experience that I have had in Iluka in a very long time.Highly recommended, and such a great addition to eating out choices in our little town.Mickey HatchKITSCH'N'SYNCVintage Store.Coming soon to 57 Charles St Iluka.

Whilst I was somewhat unhappy with the service of the adjoining premises, I appreciate this is a separate business within and reviewing accordingly. One member of our travelling companions stated this is the best meal I've eaten all year" - high praise indeed!We were originally intending to eat here on Tuesday
