Getting your hair cut and coloured by someone you have never been to before can be a very daunting experience. Getting your hair cut and coloured is a very personal thing and you want to love it as your hair has a big impact on how you feel in your day to day. I felt like taking the plunge and having a new experience. A friend had recommended Jackie. I would love to share how professional Jackie is, not only is she a very warm and gorgeous woman, her ability to discern exactly what you are wanting and what supports your hair type and skin tones is spot on. On top of all of that Jackie's head massages are amazing and I love how gentle she was when working with my hair. Thank you very much Jackie.

What a salon! What a cut!! If you haven’t tried a dry cut before, get thee to Jackie, aka Hair Jesus! She styled my long straight locks into a layered wonderland. This was my first cut and in no time I trust her to take my hair short. When you know, you know, right? And what would the experience be without the extras? Joel, tea maker extraordinaire and general delight, thank you for your good vibes and keeping me hydrated!

Jackie resurrected my sad lob, which had split from prior bleaching. She took my inspo + ideas and viola! I really wanted something fun and vibrant and she listened. The space she’s created in Byron is colourful, welcoming, inclusive, and it’s like you’re getting your hair done by a mate. I live in Sydney but now this is the only place I’ll get my hair done!

So happy to find a hairdresser that knows curly hair in Byron area. Jackie was great and listened to what I wanted whilst giving her professional opinion. I walked out super happy with my hair cut! It’s a really beautiful, fun space and super lovely, friendly service, will definitely be returning!

I wish I could take Hairjesus back with me to Paris !!It was a big hair change for me and was a bit nervous about it but at the second I opened the door, I felt the special vibe and knew I could trust them a 100%. I wasn’t wrong, Jackie did the most amazing thing no one’s ever done to my hair and you can feel the passion and love for what she does. I can style them in many different ways and it always looks good ! Her and Joe are the kindest human beings to talk with, they even offered me to take me back home instead of walking in the dark, I mean… 10 stars out of 5Thank you so much again !!!

Jackie gave me the best haircut I've had in years. Truly. It was a reminder of how wonderful a salon experience can be when your hairdresser genuinely listens to you, is supremely talented, and also a super lovely person to spend time with. Jackie really is the Hairjesus. I'm so grateful to have found her and can't recommend her highly enough!
