Great presentation, very well designed, professional and easy to walk around

I’ve not been to the Brisbane one but have had experience at the Melbourne one which was atrocious.This review is more about the company. We decided to build with Porter Davis in Brisbane and it has been a nightmare. From the salesman not accurately describing to us what were included in their prestige package, getting prices for upgrades to get a contract signed, dealing with incorrectly sized windows being installed and bricklayers not being able to follow the standard plan and having to do reworks right through to the supervisor destroying the carpet after we moved in. We’ve had to project manage the whole build as the supervisor was useless. Almost 12 months after moving in, we are still dealing with issues that were raised during the build.Unfortunately we fell in love with the house design but I’m not sure that all the effort that we had to go through to get here has been worth it. You’d think that spending nearly half a million would get you some semblance of customer service. Think again, you’ll get better service when you buy a $20 toaster. We’re even dealing with the state manager now and it sounds like the poor service comes from the top because he just blows hot air.

Excellent range of finishes and the support from the staff was exceptional.

We would like praise Michael Marinov for his great service to us. He gave us a fantastic offer to build the Macrossan 29 and has answered numerous questions for us. He is patient and nothing is too much for him. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM to anyone who would like to start the dream of building a house. THANK YOU MICHAEL
