During Covid -19 lockdown I'm missing our RMYS Community. Since joining in 2015, so many wonderful friendships, trainings, sailing events, cruising weekends, excellent food and wine and endless sunsets looking out over the St Kilda Pier and Marina..What an absolute gift RMYS is in my life.. So looking forward to returning as soon as restrictions are lifted.. Wild horses couldn't keep me away. I have been loving our virtual races, well done members and staff.

This pier is great for sunset or sunrise. Must visit and close to parking and beach. Easily accesible by tram or bus .

Amazing venue just next to the beach for events, parties or even weddings.They have a dining area with outdoor balcony on one level and a terrace on next level.There are 280 degree ocean views from here.Food they serve is delicious and very tasty.

Great opportunities to get into sailing, and sail racing. Start by coming down a daylight saving Wednesday evening to have a go on the water at a twilight sail for $20.

Where else in the world can you leave work in the CBD at 4:30, take public transport to your Yacht Club, change for sailing, meet skipper and crew walk to the boat and be ready for a 6 pm twilight race?Escorted by penguins back to the marina there is the reflected sunset from the clubhouse showing the welcome home to all.

This is an iconic location in Melbourne and one of the most beautiful so close to the CBD. With the St Kilda Pier, the Kiosk, penguins, marina, restaurants, beaches, yachts, kite surfers, fishing charters, ferry, the Catani Gardens etc etc, there is always a hive of activity here. It's a tourist mecca and a must visit.

Nice venue let down by rude and arrogant staff.Attended this venue for a marina boat/jet ski license after 3 cycles of chemo. Was shouted at (literally) by ignorant staff for wearing a hat inside. Another member of the same class wore a hat which they clearly didn't seem to care about.Would not recommend this arrogant institution in any way as this interaction has now completely turned me off from sailing.
