Goldfields Café and Bar
Seats are soooo comfortable. Cafe is close to the Lume and the staff are so friendly. Even liked that they have airdrops and heaps of charging outlets. Coffee was alright.

Coffee was great. Perfect extraction and temperature. (Ordered a cafe latte). However, appalling behaviour from wait staff. Dumped our food on the side of table. We thanked her but she turned her back on us and moved away. It wasn’t even busy. Being hospo myself, I don’t often complain and like supporting local cafe’s. Unfortunately, this sort of behaviour requires immediate attention.

Very mediocre. My friend and I both had Eureka chicken on a green papaya salad and shared a bowl of hand cut chips. The chicken was ok but we both would have preferred that the chicken be cut up rather than a just dropped on top. The papaya salad was limp and lame. Obviously made and dressed hours earlier. The fries were over cooked and very greasy. Disappointing.

The Kale salad was fresh and delicious and the service was quick and friendly. I liked the set up of tables and chairs in the open space. I host client events at MCEC so I'll definitely be back.

Lovely staff and great coffee. They ere closing up but was still happy to serve us and the coffee was well made. Blood Orange drink is nice too

Place was ok, not sure how busy it gets but when I visited was empty , plenty seating available, price wise ok. Coffee was also good. I dont often go to MCEC but this place looked better than the rest around.

Had a simple Flat White. It was week and bland. As far as the the service, there were a lot of people working the counter but one person left the register as I arrived. The next person wasn’t really paying attention to what I was saying. Maybe it was the American accent, I don’t know. Not a great experience here so I will try one of the other coffee establishments near by.

The Portobello Mushroom Melt was quite good, all clean, staff friendly. I'd go back for lunch any day.
