Good food, nice layoutCould do more with the view though... and also the bar of a night is very boring. I would suggest having live music of local acts or even themed DJ nights, which leads me to my next suggestion of mood lighting! The fluro white lights and yellow bar lights are so basic but the place has so much potential to really come alive and have a great night time scene!!

Food was average, coffee was below average, but with not much choice of restaurants in the area it worked out well. On the plus side, despite being a pub it didn't stink of alcohol so was at least a pleasant place to eat for a person who dislikes alcohol.

Certainly the poorest designed bar and restaurant I've been to in a while... The bar is extremely expensive for very little choice in drinks and the view would be amazing; if they hadn't put a big thick pole in the middle of it to support only 2 big sails and then a garden that blocks a lot of the beach view... The restaurant was SO expensive for what it was... No table service? At that price?"... $20 for a small thing of chips and what tasted like frozen Pre battered Calamari and chips... Can get busy but the view and atmosphere great. You can dine outside or dine in the restaurant. Food is great ranging from chips to calamari fish steak pizza then restaurant food has pasta that makes your mouth water and more . Great serving sizes too.

Great spot for a lunch with both a beach side restaurant and surf club feel in the same place. You can sit at tables or the bar and the menu is your typical surf restauant with steak, fish and chips, chicken parma etc. Good value, nice view and service. This is one of the nicer places in Stradbroke and we would return again.

A must do while on Straddie. Great place for lunch with a superb view. Watch the whales while you enjoy a great pub feed and cold beer

Location, location, location. The view is a delight. The meals have a typical pub basicness but still offer a good selection. The staff are friendly. But why the bar doesn't offer pints is a mystery! Good tap selection of beer and ciders.

Lookout larger and balta beer on tap can't go wrong. Beautiful views. Ocean views and Moreton island

Nice place. Awesome views, tasty beverages and OK priced. Staff were friendly and there were free bar snacks. Which was handy, as afternoon snacks and meals weren't available till 5.30pm. Would recommend checking it out. Especially for a sunset :)

A nice place to eat and drink with a view. However, one thing that tipped my family and friends who we were with, was the fact that you have to be over the age of 18 to order meals from the kitchen. I mean food doesn’t have alcohol in it. Why restrict from people under the age of 18 to go up and order food from a place that is clearly separate from the bar.
