Great place to relax

We stayed at Tassie Holiday Homes for few weeks when we were relocating to Hobart and it was a nice experience for kids. there were plenty of wallabies and rabbits visiting the area at night and it was a great adventure for kids to go explore. The home was very nice and tidy, with plenty of rooms and all utilities you would need - dining table and chairs, gas stove, microwave, fridge, two bathrooms with toilets and showers, couch, lazy boy chair, TV, DVD player, built in robes, washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron, electric bed warmers, etc. Even Wireless network was provided.The place is easy to get to its just off the main road from Hobart to Huonville. About 20 minutes drive to Hobart.

Staff were great! Very quiet and easy to relax or go for a walk. Cabins are a good size. Perfect for a short or long stay.

The perfect place to stay if you want peace and quite but be close to everything that the Channel has to offer. Having moved from NSW, it was the perfect base for us while we found a place to buy in Tassie.Everything is provided ... just need to buy food or any extras you want. TV, NBN ... it's all provided. Apparently our cabin was the oldest ... but couldn't have wanted anything else! Two bedrooms, two ensuites, great kitchen and lounge and dining spaces ... wasn't disappointed.Security via a coded gate was a plus as are caretakers on site ... who are just great to talk to.If you want a theme park, then not for you. If you want, tranquil, great location (but close), great walks and plenty of wildlife (if you venture out after dark) then, this is a must see.Owners, Ron and Kathryn Edwards are so helpful and obliging. 10/10
