We had outgrown our 3 bedroom and 1 bathroom home in the heart of Mundingburra. With two young children we needed more room but the catch was we love the area and didn’t want to move away. We thought we would explore extending our house and do a bit of a redesign. We used a drafting designer to put our ideas into a plan and then set about finding a builder. We contacted a number of local companies but following a recommendation from our draftsman we gave Ricky and Mel a call at Townsend Construction NQ.Ricky came out and looked over our plans and provided a quote within days. After a few changes with the design he updated the quote and we signed the contract. It was a significant build with a extra bedroom, ensuite, deck and redesign of our living area.Ricky and the team started soon after the contract was signed. They were professional, punctual and always available to answer any questions about the build. As a complicating factor our family remained in the house while the extension was completed for about 80% of the build time. They were very accomodating in working around our kids and pets.When it was finished we had found the extra space we needed and are enjoying using that space and the change in lifestyle Ricky and the team were able to create.

We couldn't be happier with our home renovation by Townsend Constructions NQ.From our first enquiry, to the quoting process, and then all through our build, Ricky and Melissa were responsive, accommodating and professional.Our renovation consisted of a new living room and deck, two new bathrooms, a new laundry, walk in pantry, and new master bedroom, along with the restumping of our foundations and straightening / resheeting of several existing walls.The end result has been that our beloved little 2 bedroom Queenslander has been turned into a large, spacious and modern (even more beloved!) forever-home for our family of four.The Townsend Constructions NQ crew were all highly skilled, efficient and friendly (especially Ricky, Simon and Bailey) and the subcontractors including tilers, plumbers and painters were also very professional and completed works to a high standard.Our extensive renovation was completed on time and on budget and we have been incredibly happy with the end result and our beautiful new home.

If you are looking for someone to do construction work on your home these are the guys to call. We have just had our bathroom completely remodelled and they were brilliant. They completely demoed the old bathroom and rebuilt it from the wall studs out everything was replaced to make a beautiful new bathroom.They were always on time and turned up at the time that was quoted.The guys that work for Ricky are so nice, professional, and trustworthy, and they were respectful of our house careful not to dirty anything that was outside the area they were working in ...even vacuumed the carpet were they had walked over at the end of the day.We can not be more thankful for the job they did.Call them you won't be sorry.
