Yummy fish and chips after our swim at Bronte beach. Fish was perfectly cooked, batter was crunchy and a generous portion of chips. Came with a lemon slice and delicious chicken salt seasoning!

Guy was more worried about what music was playing and kept turning it up and down then next song, all whilst serving us and asking us to repeat because he couldn’t pay attention.Then waited 20mins for cold calamari, cold chips that were old and not salted.Stay away!

The batter was crunchy and good. But the fish inside the batter was flavourless, with the texture of wet sponge. And the chips! Shoestring fries are an odd choice for a fish and chip shop but I wouldn’t have minded at all if they’d been crispy and hot. These were limp, probably sitting too long, and many were somehow barely cooked at all.If you’ve come to Bronte and you want fish and chips, this is a natural (and seemingly only) choice. It’s a shame that the owners can’t be bothered making it better, they seem to be relying on the natural beauty and remoteness of Bronte. But with better options in the nearby cafes, and the possibility of Uber Eats from decent places further afield, I don’t think it’s a clever strategy.

Got the seafood basket and extra fish cocktails. The batter that they used is very crunchy and crispy, and this made it very oily (and hard to eat). Although the chips could have been more crunchy.

Ordered $12 jumbo chips. The chips were more like fries, which is not what I expected, but the extra surface area really allowed the chicken salt to shine. There was extremely loud EDM music giving it the atmosphere of a dank club, which somehow suited the chips. I went there on my birthday and it’s definitely not an ideal birthday venue but I suppose that was on me.

The customer service at this place is what makes it a 5 star! The worker was very nice and easy to get along with. The fish was cooked perfectly and seasoned! Definitely recommend this place and eating it by the beach!

Absolutely woeful. The 2 docile gronks behind the counter couldn’t cook a piece of seafood to save themselves. You’d be better off swimming out onto the beach and catching a fish with your bare hands and eating it raw. They could’ve given me my food for free, I still would’ve felt ripped off. Dogs.

Responded well to our requests. The salad surprised us. The only thing they could improve on was the calamari and shrimp batter it was a bit overcooked. Everything else hit the spot.

This was the most rubbish fish and chips I have ever had.To start with the guy wasn’t even listening to me order, he was more focused on changing the playlist. When I finally order I get grilled coconut lime barramundi and it just tasted like curry. After waiting for what seemed like way too long for deep fried take away and about two other customers waiting in line I receive over cooked fish and cold chips.

Got really delicious grilled fish and salad here with crumbed calamari rings. Can't fault it. Not sure why this place isn't rated higher. Quick service on a Sunday night.Grilled fish has a higher wait time compared to things from the fryer because it takes longer to cook, which is to be expected. Keep in mind if in a group as it will come out at very different speeds. Thanks for a great feed!
