Initial skeptics turn into a rather delightful wonderings. Just about a right time of season’s end in this unexpected visits - a place that plays out it’s own aesthetic sense of naturalistic imaginary invites. Easy access to all even for a short day trip for all ages, in the right seasons.

Golden Valley Tree Park
Absolute must during autumn season. Colours are insane. So beautiful. There are several short and easy walking trails. Great for kids.

Woke up to 5 degrees & fog! Went to WA's largest arboretum Golden Valley Tree Park" just outside Ballingup. Absolutely fantastic to see such rare & very old trees and we did two of the 3 brilliant trails."

Great place to spend some quality time with those you love.Those living and past.Be generous and leave a donation for upkeep by volunteers.Can even scan a QR code to donate cashless or visit the website and sponsor a tree!!Autumn colours are magnificent!Thoroughly recommend more than one visit to appreciate the different feel throughout the varying seasons of the year.5 stars.

Beautiful walk with the dogs through winding pathways surrounded by so many different trees with plaques and their information. Nice to learn as you go.Lots of places to stop for a picnic. We didn’t make it the whole way around to all of the areas but it is worth another trip.

Golden Valley Tree Park
I love this place, have been here in both winter and summer. It is just gorgeous, particularly in winter, great little child and pet friendly walks. And as an added bonus, the bibbulmun runs through it.Lots of picnic benches, tables, shade areas. Haven’t needed to use the toilets so can’t comment.

Golden Valley Tree Park
Golden Valley Tree Park is the largest arboretum in Western Australia. I visited this place on 30 August 2022 because of some excellent reviews. Believe me it doesn't disappoint. Forget about being a nature lover or an avid botanist, this park is for all and in autumn it is just magical. One of those places where you are amidst nature and cellular 4G connection still working. I'm going to visit this place again in Spring and see what more magic unfolds.

A truly wonderful park - popular with great access, generous parking and different locations to have a picnic, BBQ or as we did, engage in a photoshoot!!Just out of town, makes it easy to grab something from the bakery etc and take a walk or simply relax.Best viewed in Autumn for the colours - however would make a great destination all year round...
