Fitness First Top Ryde

The worst gym experience I have ever had.The receptionists are rude and not polite.The gym is absolutely filthy, which means they have a fake policy about returning your equipment where it belongs.They allow members to walk in without a towel. great way to transmit Hep b.The bathrooms were absolutely putrid. It was like someone gave birth in there. The smell was extremely pungent and I had to throw up.I took my concerns to the staff and they were like 'Thanks for letting us know' the way it was said was so casual, seems like it's a common thing to expect. No cleaners on site, no hygiene.try cancelling your membership and the hoops they make you jump is ridiculous it should be a easy as pressing a cancel button. Fitness first ties all members on strict contracts and gets debt collectors to get involved if you choose to cancel which is mentioned when signing up.IF you like training in a dirty, filthy overpriced mouldy facility please join fitness first Top Ryde. Do not say you were not warned.

By far and away the worst gym I’ve ever trained in. Plates dropped all over the floor, dumbbells of various weights strewn through the racks. However the worst part was people wiping down machines/benches and throwing their dirty wipes on the ground and leaving them there.At 5:30pm on a Thursday it was peak hour and there was more than enough staff on to restore this gym to some semblance of order.Additionally, this gym is apparently a ‘platinum’ club according to fitness passport and requires some sort of extra membership. I wouldn’t pay a cent to train here let alone extra money. Massive L.

Like most Fitness First’s, the equipment needs modernising and the gym refurbishment. The layout is a bit cramped in places.The staff are nice though. Opening hours are better than most on weekends.

Unfortunately not even close to a platinum standard club. On any night expect a number of treadmills that are out of order, which makes it hard to get on at peak time. Bikes that are old and broken. Rowers that need batteries replaced- seriously guys, they’re $2. Spoke to the club manager and he advised that it’s a corporate decision to put the money into the city clubs. That’s great, but I joined Top Ryde as did the other members so we wouldn’t mind some of our not insignificant fees being invested into Top Ryde.

If you are looking for a feral gym facility come to fitness first in top ryde.A place where members bring their washing and use the sink in the bathroom to clean thier clothes.It’s complete infestation hub of diseases and germs.Equipment is always broken down, air conditioning never works. Female bathrooms in a public park is cleanerSThe staff think they are so cool cause they have a fitness first shirt on. Sweetheart you’re over 40 and you wear track pants to work. What a pack of losers.Management doesn’t even bother to respond to reviews or complaints.Shows you how much they really care.The gym is far from platinum. It’s mouldy, smells like a chicken farm and the toilets need to be cleansed by the world health organisation.

The fitness first gym at Top Ryde is conveniently located inside the shopping centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always ready to assist. The toilet is clean and is regularly checked and cleaned by cleaning staff and sometimes by reception staff An excellent gym with all the variety of machines. Working out in this gym is enjoyable and I highly recommend prospective gym goer to check out fitness first Gym at Top Ryde.

Nice fitness centre with great classes. I have only started attending Sunday Body Pump since a month ago. Very impressed especially with our instructor, James. Took his time to explain each and every step. The choices of music were spot on!

I wrote below 2 months back. Two days back left a small bag with my swimming gear just before closing, next day they were gone. Looks like a perennial problem with cleaners- they don’t deposit anything back.Only decent size pool in the area, looking for other options.—/- 2 month back ——Being a member, i find cleanliness and hygiene of change room and showers below par. Also, anything left in change room disappears, they don't have any storage or the cleaners have been instructed to not care. No response to written feedback ever. I find front desk staff usually nice and friendly.

Perhaps the most hygienic gym I have attended. if the staff and managers put up with this I do wonder how filthy they are at home.Yes they have equipment, every gym has equipment.They do not have hygiene, they do not have manners. The charlatans of the fitness industry. They do not allow you to cancel easily when other gyms allow you to do it online.The equipment they do have is rusting, squeaky and out of order.The pool they have dries out all the equipment causing the rust.The toilets are a potential health hazard. It is quite disgusting. female sanitary products on the floor leaking. yuck.

Peter, in particular, has been instrumental in providing guidance, personalized workout plans, and expert advice, which have significantly enhanced my fitness journey.The staff at Fitness First Top Ryde diligently ensure that the gym is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with the necessary amenities.
