Biggest let down. Over priced. Pies, pasties and sausage rolls are absolutely terrible, soggy and tasteless. Ask for a chunky steak and you get sloppy mince. Worst ive ever had. Sorry for the poor review but its true.

Famous for pies with a scraping of filling. Come on guys, put some meat in the meat pies.When I see a review praising the pies, I'll be back.Not good when the locals laugh at the pies. Buy a six pack of frozen ones from Woolies, next door.

Worth the scenic drive to stop in for a bite. One of the best bakeries I've been to. The staff were friendly and the shop was super clean. Take your appetite.

Not impressed at all with this bakery , you should be ashamed . $10 minimum to use eftpos.... are you kidding me.It’s the 21st century!!!no one carries cash around anymore.Stop ripping off your customers and the town of lake cathie.$5.70 for a below average cheese and bacon pieWhere at bells bakery in port Macquarie it’s 4:80 and it’s twice the size.Your a greedy little bakery you deserve this review!

Same gripe as everyone else. The pies don't have enough filling. The pastry is great but they're empty.Come on guys, you're missing out on heaps of business just because of your pies.

Ladies are always very polite and helpful. Have not tried their bread but will do so now after reading some of the reviews. Their cakes are really good. Especially the ones with fresh cream

This is one of the best bakery's on the coast, ladies are always helpful and wow do they make great pies! Just looking at negative reviews from other people on here and they must just be negative people in general as I and everyone one I know who has shopped there think that Lake Cathie Bakery is great! Support Local and I hope Woolworths never gets a Bakery in Lake Cathie.

This is one of the top Bakeries in the area..... The Bread is delicious, baked onsite and not full of all the chemicals in the mass produced stuff.We always buy our bread from here, and also the odd delicious sweet treat.The Apple and cream turnovers are to die for.Keep up the great work.
