Chinese Holiday Restaurant
Good location in centre of town. Service by young team was improving. Meals were generous. Prawns delicious. Our meals were Quite tasty. Noisy restaurant.

First impressions were that we had stepped back in time about 30-40 years as the menu and decor hasn't been touched since. Unfortunately the prices and portion sizes have definitely been brought up to today's standards! When they brought out a tiny saucer with half a dozen prawn chips I assumed everyone else would get their own saucer brought out but no, that was $7 worth already! Food was as bland and boring as a 1980s Chinese restaurant trying to cater to grey nomads that think boiled chicken with cashews is exotic. Then again, if that's what you want and you don't mind paying $28 for it, go for it!

Don't believe the reviews or the newspaper article.. This is the worst I've ever had. The wonton soup had a weird taste& crunch in the middle, sizzling beef was some sort of mushy meat and the fried rice was glog and no flavor. Gross. $50 something dollars and it all went in the bin

Located on Bulcock Street Caloundra, on Street Parking Available Out Front of The Restaurant.The Decor of This Chinese Restaurant Is Lovely & Beautiful, With Plenty To Look At. Has An Extensive Menu to Suit All Tastebuds. The Quality & Taste of The Dishes Is Very Good. The Portion Sizes Are A Bit On The Small Size, When You Consider How Expensive They Are.The Service Was Efficient & The Dishes Arrived In Good Time.

I narrowed down this Chinese restaurant from a list of restaurants available on Bulcock (based on the 5 star ratings online) with high hopes for a delicious, traditional meal. Unfortunately, I was left VERY disappointed by the food I ordered. The fried rice lacked flavor, and the rice itself was watery and clumpy and underseasoned. Additionally, they added boiled vegetables into the rice and the dishes that were ordered it lacked any distinct taste. Despite the friendly and polite owners(I feel bad writing this), the overall quality of the food was subpar…resembling boiled meat/seafood mixed in with sauce. I would suggest waiting until you reach Brisbane to find an authentic Chinese restaurant.

Chinese Holiday Restaurant
My family and I dropped in here while in Caloundra for some take-away. I was pleasantly surprised at the high standard of food and the friendliness of the manager and her staff. They even gave us some amazing home-made chilli sauce to go with the food. Highly recommended!
