Has a huge range of gear and some stock that you won’t in other fishing tackle stores, some which are no longer in production. Cheaper than other tackle shops and Gazza price matches if you prove it to him.

Great little hidden gem of a tackle store with Japanese lures I've never seen before, first time I've ever been there I was there little bit early before opening time and owner opened up for me.Talked to owner and his wife they were honestly lovely people, watched them serve countless happy customers while I was there for 2 whole hours of browsing lures.If you know your gear this is definitely a shop I'll come back to.

Horrible service over the phone. Just wanted to know the price of a UV torch, said they don’t do price over the phone?? Why have a business phone number to call if you’re not going to use it for business? They’re a plenty of stores around to use instead, I’d suggest you do that - it’s what I’ll be doing. Sylvania here I come.

Rockdale Sports Fishing Tackle
Discovered this fantastic local tackle store run by a ma & pa couple with a great range of the latest rods, reels and tackle. They carry plenty of new things you can't get elsewhere, and also collector items you can't find anymore. Competitively priced - picked up a wicked Daiwa set and promptly tested it out down the road at Taren Point, picking up a feed of flathead and trevally! Independent shops like this are rare with old school classic customer service. They may not have a fancy website, but are well worth dropping in to, and really are competitively priced against the big chains - will be back for my angling needs.

Because this place doesn't have a website, I thought their prices would be higher than most tackle stores, but this isn't true. They sell everything you need at competitive prices. Bought some Gamakatsu hooks off them at a cheaper price than what I have seen for sale anywhere else.The owner is gregarious and loves to have a bit of a chin wag. It is strange they do not tell you prices over the phone, but once you come in, you will see their prices are reasonable and competitive.

I walked in there after reading some reviews and want sure what to expect.These owner greeted me as I was browsing and I told him I was going to browse as there was so much to look at. He said Fine! Take your time - if you need me for anything just ask"Their prices on reels are very good! $40 cheaper for the reel I purchased than another store.Was happy to purchase as he wasn't pushy at all and I didn't feel rushed or spied on as I browsed.Huge selection.Recommended. Don't believe everything you read (could be competitors). Go in for yourself and check it out."

Fantastic, well stocked tackle shop with a huge selection of top-end gear. Very competitively priced. Goo is a lovely hard working bloke who I have been shopping with for over 10 years. Highly recommended.
