I recently bought 2 packs of string hoppers on a Saturday morning, and specifically asked lady at the counter whether it was freshly made.When opened, it had a bad smell and strings were spoiled. Felt like it was kept outside for days. I rang the shop and their response was shocking. Staff attitude towards customers was really bad. Not even an apology. Would not recommend to any.

Authentic Srilankan restaurant in South East Melbourne with wide variety of dishes you could choose from. Doesn't offer delivery and no dine ins at the moment due to Covid restrictions. But you could enjoy a nice Srilankan meal at a reasonable cost. Also serves a nice selection of quick bites with range of pastries and ethnic deserts.

The lumprais was very delicious although it was not the traditional Sri Lankan flavour. The fish buns were the best I have tasted. Thank you MBK team.

Food is really nice . However their customer service is really bad . Lots of improvements needed , both for the staff and to the shop. Shop looks very dirty and unwelcoming.

Food was okay. Better than most of the Sri Lankan food stores around Narre Warren. Front staff members are friendly and quick. A pleasant young fellow guided us to make a decision for our lunch.

Chinese rolls, maalu roti, patties were nice. Kibula, maalu paan was ok. Lamprais was average and had fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce which wasnt clear if it was a mistake or not but that reduced the experience.TLDR Short eats were real nice.
