The Sovereign Resort Hotel
The resort is fantastic. What a treat. Room was spacious, clean and well presented. The bed was excellent. The food was brilliant. Breakfast was fresh with a wide variety to choose from. Dinner was a set menu for us being a tour group but was brilliant. The lamb and fish dishes were awesome and the sticky date pudding and vanilla bean ice cream was wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We dined at the upstairs restaurant which was lovely.Staff very friendly and service was good.Meal (Thai Papaya Salad) was very good too!

Terrible, Monday night on a working trip went to the sovereign to get a meal, waited 1hr for 2 burgers and a snitty... which never came, got a refund and not 1 sorry really even said..

Large good rooms. Very nice outdoor area with large pool. Very well presented.The service and food at the restaurant was outstanding. One of the best duck dish we ever had. Good prices too. Would go there again.

Had one meal here - it arrived with a human hair on the mashed potato, waitress failed to notice. It was replaced (I hope) and came back cold, like the raw, tasteless lamb. Thank goodness for salt & pepper!

From the moment we stepped onto the property we were very impressed. The staff were polite, well presented and helpful.The hotel is very clean and well laid out with an amazing pool in the middle that was super nice to relax in after a long day.

Friendly team, good modern facilities and great service. I’ve stayed here a few times and something I always marvel at is that the rooms are well designed for the tropical climate. They keep their cool inside! Good wifi, comfy beds. Great for a few nights stay.

Washing and dryers cost $4.00 each. They only take coins which are not always on hand. Had to request a microwave, and cutlery to prepaire meals. Felt awkward to request what's felt to be very expected.Not ideal for an extended stay, in this case 5days for work. Service was fantastic however, my applause to Greta (reception) for assistance.
