Must do walk for visitors, stunning scenery, turtles grazing below lookout and time your return walk for low tide makes the walk a 2 hour memory you won’t forget.

Turtle Lookout
Holy Dooly!! They where bloody everywhere. Hard to spot initially but once you spot one you spot them all!. The hike to get there is awesome, a bit hard at the start but well worth it. Check tide times before you set out, I got stuck the first time having to wade through the water (I could've turned around but I was too stubborn for that).

After a short hike from Cape Hillsborough, you'll reach this overlooking up the hill. It has a great view of the sea and some turtles on the beach.

Turtle Lookout
Good climb, not much fitness required. My grandson who was 3 at the time managed this all on his own. We were treated to a wonderful view of the ocean. Quite windy at the time though so there was plenty of seaweed and turtles bobbing around below. Magical! Made some wonderful memories that day

It’s called turtle lookout for a reason. So many turtles feeding at the foot of the cliff. Worth the walk.

Turtle Lookout
Plenty of turtles to see from viewing platform 50m up. Great walk up there through rainforest track and return down to beach for walk back (water will block during high tide). Whole experience was great and back to car within 90min. Do it!
