Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania
This place is a real hidden gem. The menu changes frequently, so my wife and I are in the habit of visiting every second or third week in order to try as many different foods as possible. Today we had injera and a haloumi toasted sandwich for mains, followed by baklava and Eritrean ginger coffee. Delicious.

Simply the best international food in Hobart and one of the only places you can enjoy Ethiopian injera bread and curries. Their catering service is first-class for any work lunches or conferences - and it all goes towards supporting the rich migrant community in Tasmania. Thank your MRC Tasmania!

Went to the migrant cafe with friends and had the food from the menu of the week. Absolutely delicious! Cannot recommend enough and so cheap (and I've eaten all over the world). Just go and enjoy! Albert go early as it is very popular.

I picked up some food last minute on Wednesday - they were already closing down but the staff kindly put an injera meal together for me to take away. Everything was delicious! I loved that some of the packaging was compostable. I really look forward to going back again soon to try more new-to-me foods. Thanks for a great experience :)

Located in the complex where you may find the Transportation Museum near by. The centre provides many services to help new and existing migrants to adapt the new lifestyle. There are also many volunteer positions that you may have interest in.

The food is always delicious, anything with injera (Ethiopian flat bread) is a must order for me. Very friendly staff here too.
