My home was given a full check over for mold after water damage. I had several dehumidifiers and fans put throughout my home to dry it out and all affected timber and walls were treated with mold products to kill off the mold. All the staff were well mannered and helpful. Nothing was a problem. Answered all my questions. Cleaned up and sorted out all the mess. They were well organised and efficient. Great job thank you.

RestorX was assigned by RACV to do an initial inspection of water damage to my elderly mum's garage. The RestorX guy came and left the space looking like a bomb had gone off in there. He unpacked brand new items which were still in good condition and turfed items that were undamaged, left garbage all over the place so that my elderly mum had to clean up afterwards in order to be able to put items she had moved out on the front lawn back in the garage. She clearly asked to have things left undisturbed that weren't water damaged and to place discarded items out of the way, but nothing was put back in it's place. She'll have to pay for a skip to remove the pile garbage that is now sitting outside the house, or else wait a week or so before RestorX returns to remove it. Just disgraceful!

Could not recommend AGAINST using RestorX more strongly. We have had a dreadful experience with them. Our house was flooded in storms in January 2020 and our insurance company called on RestorX to assist. From there it was one nightmare after the other. Firstly they failed to warn us that their intensive dryers would ruin all of our wood furniture (dried out so much that it all cracked), then when we complained and they conceded that the furniture should have been put into storage, RestoeX organised this for us on behalf of our insurance company. Months later when repairs were still ongoing, the insurance company told us that we needed to take on the storage cost. We advised RestorX of this, and they changed the bills into our name. When we received the storage bills, we discovered that they were charging us $1,200 per month for storage!! We enquired as to why the charge was so outrageous and were informed that there was an error and that they had continued to charge us at the insurance rate. Unbelievable that they think it’s OK to rip off insurance companies and keep our premiums higher in the process!! When we tried to move it to a different storage facility which wanted to charge us less than $500 per month, RestorX ignored our emails requesting the transfer, and only contacted us again when we didn’t pay our bill. The best bit : they didn’t even do a good job : they gave the walls a clear bill of health, our builder disagreed so we pulled a wall down to discover black mould, and when they finally released our goods back to us, they were missing our dining table while we gained 2 pieces of furniture which are not ours. Months later, they have not found our table, and have shown no interest in collecting the items which are not ours and returning them to their rightful owners!!

Very poor communication. They sent a different person out every time they come and none of them know what's going on, nor does the office person. Total of 12 people through the house just to set up a dehumidifier and dry a small patch of carpet. Sent 3 different subcontractors to replace underlay, fix skirting board and steam clean the carpet... But sent the steam cleaner first before all other work had been done. Great idea. They also don't communicate to the subcontractors who also arrive and have no idea what needs to be done.

6 times I've called and left MY name and contact. Everytime I've called, I've said do not call my husband, he won't be able to answer.Everytime they call HIM, not me. I've given up, ready to drop the claim through insurance all together.

Restorx has made a difficult situation even more difficult. Their lack of communication, not even showing up to the damaged property to take inventory before all items were removed has now left me out of pocket with my insurance company as they could not do their job. It’s a shame that CGU still continue to utalise a company who don’t perform or offer the service that they are supposed to. You should be ashamed that your company makes difficult situations even harder on people

Absolutely appuling business with no regard for common decency or empathy towards what someone may be going thro.I have been a member with my insurance company for over 22 years without a single claim until Feb 2022 when the pura tap burst in my rental subsequently flooding 3 rooms..At first I opted to not have anything restored cause I was fearful of long term issues such as mold in places that are hidden. .6 months past until I was able to finally arrange for an assessor to come to do the report.The admin was advised and assured me that they would not come until after 12:30 as my partner works nights and that due to my PTSD it had to be on a Monday as it's his rdo.Assessor called at around 8:30 waking up my partner, Ignored call but they called again close to 10.When informed about not being able to come until after 12:30 was told that they probably won't be able to make it and would be there tomorrow.To say I was upset is an understatement seeing that I had booked this in 3 weeks prior and was promised.Since then I sent over 60 photos and videos to my insurance company as well as a detailed list with item numbers and only received one phone call from them and this company .5 months pass and the insurance company wanted to send these guys out to assess what the cause of the mould was.. lol like it's not obvious.Called this company explained previous experience and was booked in the next Monday was told that the area manager and the electrician would be there to test tag.Monday came and the person who failed to attend the first time was sent to take photos. My insurance company told me that they hadn't received the report yet.3 weeks later I receive 2 miss calls at 7:30 am with message for Sarah to come and do the test tagging!!!.Really over the incomptance and lack of professionalism from this companyWho the hell calls at that time in the morning for starters secondly why would I allow you to take up my time yet again with something that you failed to do 3 weeks ago?

I had a bad experience with Restorx. The job was poorly organised, communication was haphazard and lazy and, although I had to listen to 20-minutes of recorded messages about how they deliver 'amazing' customer service with 'empathy', when I said I wanted to complain about how the job was run, they hung up on me. I submitted a written complaint to them in the hope I would receive a response, but they ignored it. Avoid this company if you can. I would have given 0 stars if that was an option.

We found glass and mould in items returned from RestorX. Items were said to be restored but were dirty and had glass shards in them. Also said children’s books and toys were safe and not written off but also had glass in them. Be careful if you’ve been assigned this company through AAMI as Restorex charged AAMI $12,000 to store our belongings without our knowledgeable while AAMI took their sweet time repairing our home so when we found the fridge hadn’t been stored properly either and also had mould in it they said we’d used all of our contents allowance due to storage fees! Be careful people!
