Butcher Gap conservation park
Great place for a walk. Here you can see how land use changes have modified a natural environment. Appears that the draining of the swaps have reduced the wetlands ability to keep water. Look for kangaroos and wombats. They need to go and fix the information signs as some of the plants are no longer where they were

A lovely park just off the bitumen at the S end of Kingston SE. Well maintained easy 2 hr anticlockwise walking track with a good bird-hide at the southern most end. Grab a free pamphlet from the entrance and follow the informative numbered signs. No toilets. Good phone coverage.
