Shady Rest Motel
Clean room comfortable bed. That is where it ends. Breakfast stale and even when returned for more it was worse. Lady at front counter not friendly or welcoming.

Beautiful clean and comfortable.Quiet, no road noise.Breakfast is available on request and quite reasonably priced.Would definitely come back here.

Great country motel. Had our wedding guests stay here and Barbara was very welcoming. Nice clean rooms and quite location. Highly recommended!

Shady Rest Motel
Cockroaches crawling around in the room. Smokers from next door rooms, who thought it would be fine to do this right in front of our room with our young children not able to escape it. Not sure what's going on in the other rooms, but looks like crack house cook up in rooms 16 and 18 and another room across the way. The room had terrible odour and stains on the walls. Zero grading here

A comfortable and quiet room yet close to highway access. Clean. Just keep Shady Rest in mind if looking for accommodation. I would stay there again. The breakfast is highly recommended as well.

Very clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff are good, friendly and helpful as is the manager Barbara. If we travel through Gympie in the future Shady Rest is where we will stay. Very pleasant experience.

Clean and tidy….great staff who are helpful. Rooms well appointed. Great value for money and easy to get to off the highway.

Great place to stay close to the highway easy to get to the only issue I have is why are all the lights on all night?? Turn them off. The lights outside all of the rooms are so lit up it looks like it's daylight outside.
