Talaroo Hot Springs
New establishment. Amenities are spotless. Great camp kitchen. Beautiful bush setting with huge covered area at Cafe to sit in the shade. Lovely hot spring baths in a STUNNING setting. Manager explained they listened to feedback and reduced the cost of the private baths to $30.00 which is quite good!Dirt road access to area is solid and well maintained. If you love this great sunburnt country....this is a magnificent place to experience and support Indigenous people.

This was a genuinely uplifting and educational experience which we will never forget. It is more than camping and a hot spring. Four days of serenity in a beautiful natural setting. We can't speak highly enough of Talaroo, the tour, the staff, the facilities (all brand new and 5 star) and more importantly the way this newly aquired property is now being managed in a regenerative way. You won't see anything like this anywhere else . The Ewamian people are restoring the pools, water flow and water system so it is returning to the way it was pre cattle, hence , for example, the board walks replacing concrete paths. The river bank and bed is sandy with hundreds of weeping paper-bark trees giving full and dappled shade for pre and post swims-no reeds, crystal clear water, picture perfect. We learned from our inspiring Indigenous guides how the unique, 20,000 year old health- giving mineral -rich thermal waters come from literally unfathomable depths. The tour was fascinating, then the private soak pool the following day was great. Thankyou sincerely Tracey and Lavinia for sharing your stories, knowledge and genuine feelings. We are already looking forward to our return.

What a wonderful experience. We stumbled upon Talaroo by accident. Booked in for 2 nights & extended for another 2 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The emenities always clean & the tour of the hot springs had just the right amount of information. We finished the tour with a leisurely soak in the hot springs pool. We will certainly return

Nice campsite with excellent toilet and shower facilities. Communal kitchen is good also. The Einsleigh river is great for a cool off and the hot springs will energise you... beers around the campfire under a million stars... great place to hang out for a while

Beautiful place to visit. The camping area is new and the trees don't provide a lot of shade though there are a bunch of seats around the camp kitchen. If there were some more walks or things to do besides the hot springs tour it would make it even better. At the moment anything more than 2 nights would leave you at a loss.

Talaroo Hot Springs
Wonderful place. True about the lack of shade but the trees need time to grow.Wish you could camp by the river and campers should have access to the hot pool and a few walking or off-road tracks. The story time was good by the fire. For meals please do home made stuff as you would have eaten from all local ingredients. This will really make the place a whole lot better.

Another incredible experience attending these hot springs. Nature never ceases to surprise us with such wonders. The indigenous history here goes back thousands of years and to have this knowlege spoken from local indigenous people is a rewarding experience.

I had an amazing experience at Talaroo Hot Springs. The tour was very informative, the geological formations were impressive, and the hot springs provided a unique and unforgettable experience. The surrounding area is breathtakingly beautiful. Talaroo Hot Springs is a must-visit place. The campsite facilities were fantastic, and the owners were passionate and knowledgeable about the hot springs.
