Great walk, the information centre has animals from the area. Plenty of wildlife to see and hear. At the entry to the visitor centre is a donation box and map.

Gorgeous area for an easy board walk. Lots of birdlife & photo opportunities. Donations are greatly appreciated, though not policed. Great place to let the kids let off some steam. Recommended on a sunny day.

Tamar Island Wetlands Centre
I had a great walk here after work, just starting to get enough daylight. Saw plenty of birds black swans, swam hens and many others. Recommend getting an electronic payment options, well worth a few dollars.

Excellent, well maintained, easy walking path. Plenty of bird life along the way. Donation entry makes it an accessible family activity. Maps and bird spotting fact sheets available at the entrance. And toilets available by the BBQ area on Tamar Island.

Awesome walk! Lots of birds to see, walk is 1.5km one way, 3 bridges to walk across to main island where u can have a BBQ or picnic! Watch out for snakes as we saw one on our walk near walkway, it hi-tailed back into the scrub! Totally good walk!

Nice place for bird seeing. The visitor center closed on Tuesday but the track is still open.

Tamar Island Wetlands Centre
A fantastic walk with excellent views of the estuary and it's surrounds. Bird life abounds and the occasional mammals feeding by the boardwalk.
