Great spot. I haven't been there for thirty years, and forgot just how good the 'bidgee is. For a camp site, it's as good as any, just dont expect a glamping" spot. It has everything you NEED."

Large grassed area, could do with a mow. Few drop toilets, also need cleaning, no lighting in toilet facilities. A lot of noisy cockatoos and a lot of noisy cows on other side of Murrumbidgee river, nature at it's best. The area needs a clean up due to recent flooding. Great quiet location. Barbecues not working due to recent flooding, also no lighting Thank you Wantabadgery for providing a great camp spot. A large log broke off tree over weekend and blocked track to camp area. People need to pick up their rubbish and put in bins provided around the area. Old toilet is full. Council worker only comes out once a week to empty bins

We only stayed one night this time as we were driving through this area but it was still very quiet and picturesque. We had TV reception & phone (Telstra) reception but no internet (Optus) reception, but still a very enjoyable stay. There are a couple of single toilet blocks/buildings and loads of space plus a small boat ramp and our furbaby (dog) totally enjoyed her swim and walks. Quite a popular little place even though there is NO FRESH DRINKING WATER only taps with Do Not Drink" marked on them

Large grassed area, drop toilets and they need cleaning and also no lighting, grassed area needs mowing. Bins around the area. Heaps of cockatoos, cows on the other side of river, nature at it's best BBQ area, barbecues not working due to recent flooding. Few pot holes coming in. People need to pick up their rubbish, put in bins provided around the area. Old toilet is full. The council worker only comes out once a week to empty bins. Thank you Wantabadgery.
