After reading all other reviews, the after sales service is so poor. I agreed with them that if only can give zero star for their product and services. Daikin being such a big brand internationally and yet the after sales service does not live up to the same level, CEO must be sleeping. I have 8 faulty units of heating and cooling system since 10/02/2023. Daikin, the installer (iEnergi - do not use them) and the builder been to my site 7 or time’s assessment after assessment but all 8 units are still not working. My early parents had to live through extremely hot summer and now extremely cold winter. I agreed with others, do not buy this brand of products.

Daikin may be reputed for their products, but their customer service post purchase is absolutely appalling.I had problems with both my heating and cooling. The fault code for the aircon was for the unit's temperature sensor but Daikin refused to attend until installation errors had been ruled out. As a result the installers had to cut several manholes in the ceiling of my new apartment which were totally unnecessary and they spent weeks trying to diagnose the problem.The Daikin agent who eventually attended over a month later, made defamatory remarks about the qualifications of the tradesmen, the builder and myself. He continually stated he was doing me a favour" by repairing the unit under warranty. Despite the 15 minute rant being recorded

Extremely poor service,Our split system broke November 2022 and is under warranty. It's now been 7 months, they have tried to replace the parts 6 times and it keeps blowing up, we are now about to go through winter with no working split system.Two different technicians said the unit needs to be replaced and we can't even get a call back from Daiken Customer Service.

I can only echo the disappointment in Daikin's customer service team - I had a multisplit installed 6 weeks ago, and have not been able to use one of the bedroom units, due to a constant tapping sound. A service technician did come out 2 weeks ago - only to make it worse! Now it sounds like a smoke alarm going off in the next room - and no resolution in sight. Major buyers remorse - should have gone with Mitsubishi.

Save yourself the trouble and NEVER buy a Daikin. Extremely disappointed in the service we have received. Our air condition broke more than 3 months ago and after waiting 3 weeks we finally got someone in to look at it they then needed to order the parts, which we understand. However the contact has been next to none. We have had to wait more than 2 months to hear back from Daikin regarding when the parts are coming, even just to get an estimated date. A member of the household has a chronic illness and cannot regulate their body temperature, they have gone to hospital with a flareup due to the heat. The service has been absolutely horrendous. No one knows what they are doing, and no one is able to give updates they just say yeah we will pass it on, you need to constantly follow up with the company otherwise you will not hear back. They have not provided any help or solutions in the meantime.

21st December 2021Daikin Australia really needs to self assess its capability to support their customers.I have an 80 year old mother in law with her son who has restricted movement and other health issues awaiting service to a non functional domestic split system that has not been working for nearly 4 weeks.The original agent and equipment installer (when originally contacted) simply gave my relations the phone number for Daikin Australia.This equipment is still well within the 5 year warranty period and I do realise there is no sense of urgency at play here.We are 3 days from Christmas 2021 and with a hot summer looming my elderly mother in law is currently in a state of stress.Covid19 conditions and any transport delays do not account for such a long delay and lack of service in this regard and any attempt to deal with the company does present its own difficulties.I would urge the Service Manager and senior management to conduct an evaluation of the current capabilities of the business unit to best understand how people (who think the Daikin brand so reliable) should be better served no matter what.

Had a 7.1kw newly installed last month on 25th-Nov. It ran for a few hours then the fan motor was faulty. Someone came to replace it last week on 22nd-Dec. It ran some hours then the problem occurred again last night on 25th-Dec. Have to wait until Jan next year to lodge another warranty process.Very sad experience.Very disappointed.Very bad quality.Unbelievable and ridiculous! Cannot believe a brand new Daikin product is like this.I was so stupid of spending more money on such a brand.Hope they will fix it asap or preferably replace the whole outdoor unit.

If I Could give no stars I Wood.Installed number Fully inducted system in our house in September.This was an issue from the start. Told the installer he did not want to know about it.Rang Dakin they put me in touch with there guy in Tasmania who came out and said there was a problem with the thermister on cool and heat both need replacing. As unit is constant defrost mode. But apparently you can not get parts as not available in Australai.When asked when do I expect to have unit up and running answer do not know. So I Rang Dakin and got run around someone will call you sir. Still waiting 1 week ago.My Wife has a health problem and need constant heat and my self needs heat for my health. We are in our 60's.So Daikin why cant you replace the unit and why dont you train the installers.We was ripped off by the installer $25k for it 3 bedroom houseFDYAN125

Wish I could give zero stars. Had a warranty issue in January, they quoted 6-7 weeks just to assess the unit. I was able to have this repaired independently which I am allowed to do under Consumer Law. Constantly emailing to put through a warranty claim and receive no response.Very disappointed and will keep on them as they need to be accountable for their products.To sum up do not buy Daikin products.

People here complaining because they waited 10 days for a tech to come out under warranty. Try 3.5 months!! They ordered the wrong part (three weeks wait), then realised they needed to order another (out of stock and back order - 8 weeks wait). Went from needing it repaired for Summer to still waiting for it to be fixed in Winter in Melbourne.Also, why are you asking people of submit info to 'Marketing' inbox? Goes to show this company is all tricks and scams only backed by a great 'Marketing' ploy to get your money!
