Powells Creek Tennis Centre

I've been doing tennis lessons here for most of the year now and not only are the staff great and friendly, i feel like i have a little tennis family here. the coaches are incredibly skilled, i have trained with 3 of them now and they have helped me improve my tennis immensely. My partner also plays and trains here with the head coach who is very laid back and easy to get along with. We are so happy we found this place.

As an adult beginner, I’m really enjoying learning to play tennis here. Brett and his coaching team are excellent – focussed, patient and very supportive and encouraging. Highly recommend.

Not crowded. Courts are available most of the time. Need to call to book. Some of the court surface is not ideal.

The junior lessons at this centre are casual, challenging and great fun for the kids. Our children, aged 7 and 11 have improved out of sight. Recommended.

Powell's Creek is a very nice cozy place near the park and the football field. The staff members are very friendly and Brett, the owner is a champion. The only negative aspect is the state of the courts is a bit average.

Played a few times at Powells Creek, but can't say I've enjoyed much. These courts need resurfacing. The lights are obsolete and very difficult to play at night. Also, pretty expensive for what it is. Won't be coming back there too soon.

The owner of this tennis centre is a truly terrible person. He is an incompetent coach and is rude to members. Brett is also extremely racist and involves members in his own personal issues. Trust me, do not train here, go somewhere else. After one conversation with Brett you will see what I mean.

I’ve been a customer, with my daughter for over two years. My background is Lebanese and I have never felt any racism from Brett or anyone in the club. It’s actually the opposite we feel like family. Brett is very professional with adult and kids. We enjoy playing in this club, and we recommend this club for everybody.

Awesome blokes. Great experience learning with both Brett and Peter. Would recommend any day.

The area is nice and secluded.It was ok at the beginning and then it just went from ok to bad. Brett is moody at times and take out his own personal problems to players, teakky unprofezsional.I found Brett to be super unorganized with poor communication about when there is no show on his part, rules and cancellation polices.We had many instances Brett didnt show up or had he informed other coaches when my son was scheduled for his weekly private lessons with him. It happened so often that I had to keep my own diary of the classes that my son missed. Personal issue is not an excuse to me unprofessional for months and months.It was all too hard in the end. There are many more professionally run centres that you would be better sending your kids there in the area.I would recommend checking out other tennis centre in the area first. There is a reason why this place is easy to get in and slightly cheaper.
