Three for brunch on Mother's Day. Not too busy, only 10 minute wait for a table. Cauliflower and halloumi fritter was quite nice. By the time we were ready to order the restaurant was over the early rush. Unfortunately 2 of us had finished our meals before the 3rd meal arrived, despite asking for it several times. Second round of coffee was quite cool. Will probably choose somewhere else next time.

Came here for coffee... which was served quite cold to me despite mentioning that I need it extra hot. But they did replace it for me after complaining. Cqrrot cake slice was too good though.

The staff were friendly and showed excellent initiative, setting my toddler up with colouring materials and then crafting a foam frog on her babyccino. Iced chocolate and coffee were delicious, and brunch specials were amazing. I really appreciated this affordable brunch outing!

It’s alright. Thought we’ll stop here because of the reviews and close to home.Sadly didn’t meet expectations. Had the pancakes and wasn’t served with enough berry compote or maple syrup. Trying to get anyone’s attention was next to impossible with them walking with their head down. Hat to get up and go get service even though there was plenty of stuff walking around. Also wanted the watermelon mock tail? And of course that was sold out. Was very busy and so noisy.

Brunch is a busy time for Northcote cafes and this one is no exception. The big inside area means that you won't have to wait long for a table, if you visit during peak times. The food is contemporary Australian and has a few influences from Asia, America and some fusion styles. The portions are decently sized and prices are standard for the area. Most full sized items are $20+The service is very good even when the place is busy. Staff are polite, knowledgeable and efficient. They let our table split our bill too, which was nice.I had the brisket special with corn bread. It was delicious but needed more sauce. The bread was a little dry.

I noticed this place opened up a while ago and finally got to try. Overall, it was not bad but did not really stand out in terms of quality of the food, serviceability, or other aspects (especially for the price they charged). It could be that the standards I expect out of the cafes in Northcote are high. The atmosphere and the design were pretty sleek and nice though.

We came here for brunch at peak time on Tuesday - it was very busy, but the big shared tables meant it was still easy to get a seat. The food and the coffee were good, and expected prices. The service was fantastic though!! The staff were very friendly, and they even happily swapped my friends dish for a completely new one (she is Halal and didn’t realise the chili scrambled eggs had bacon in it until after it arrived) free of charge even thought it was clearly our oversight and not their fault at all. Outstanding. Will definitely return.

I visited this gorgeous little cafe last weekend with my husband and daughter and I must say the food is delicious and the service was fantastic. Both my daughter and I cannot eat Sourdough bread due to a reaction to it and despite sourdough being used for the sandwiches on the menu, both the waitress and the chef were extremely helpful and the lovely chef made us food to suit our needs. Our toasties, chips and salads were perfection. The place also has a great atmosphere, just a lovely experience overall and we will definitely be returning!
