I got a very tricky cover made for my ute tray that had to fit around my tool boxes and ladder racks. I didn't think it would turn out as well as it did but Max is amazing! It turned out better than I had even hoped. When I went to pay for it they charged me less than I was estimated.I couldn't be happier!!!It is so refreshing to see good old fashioned service with good old fashioned quality.These guys are a great example of a small family run business that knows how to look after clients and knows their craft.It's very easy to recommend The Canvas Man, they're great!!!Allan Taylor

They did a great job on making my custom blinds. I appreciated the advice they gave me about what would be best for the area I wanted covered. My only issue is that when I first approached them several months prior, that they said they'd come to my house on a few occasions to assess things, but then they wouldn't show up or call. I always had to follow-up. But once the details were finalised, the order to make them went like clockwork through to installation.

My trailer canvas apparently shrank more than expected so it had to have an extra section sewn into it 3 months later. It shrunk further, an employee inspected the canvas and agreed it had shrunk further and blamed it on a bad batch of canvas, he said there are several jobs made from this batch of canvas that keep coming back for repairs. The owner then walks out and denies any problem. Also, the original zips were installed incorrectly and impeded the trailer gate opening - this was blamed on the trailer design (even though they had seen the trailer and should have been able to design a canvas to suit the trailer - if not, don't take on the job). My canvas now has 4 rear zips instead of 2, it still doesn't sit right and it looks like a patchwork quilt with the added sections. (compared to the perfect looking canvas on the owners rig in the carpark). But I will not be going back as the owner is simply rude. And don't expect a call to advise your job is ready for collection because I can't ring everybody

Great job quality of material is good grade, price was very pleasing, Brett was very obliging booked in van for a measure he said it would take a couple of hours to install press studs on van & make a template, he text me 2 hours later saying van was ready to pick up, when I returned to pick it up he had dropped every thing & made up the wind skirt saving us having to return from Sydney to pick it up or get posted.If I ever need other work done I would return to this company.Great job Brett, would recomend you to anyone.Regards Alan.

I was just looking into getting a quote for some sails and spent half an hour taking measurements, then spent another half an hour drawing up diagrams and writing a letter explaining what I was after.I've confirmed the email address, confirmed that the letter was received and 2 years later have never received a reply.If they couldn't do a job as simple as shade sails then they really don't deserve to be in business, and I guess considering they never replied, they may not be.Edit: This email was sent AFTER I called and was told to send in measurements for the quote I wanted so I understand you might have liked a follow up call but your failure to reply made me lose confidence that this was a reliable place to do business.

Decided to update my 10 yr old annexe in good condition, with an additional screen door and all velcro tapes.This company did an excellent job, on time and below estimate even cleaning all panels as well.Definitely will use them again without hesitation.

Needed some modifications to my ute canvas canopy and dropped in to see if they could help. Canvas man were efficient, very helpful, easy going and professional, and the quality of work was excellent. Definitely would come back in the future.

I was after a new zip for my motorcycle jacket. I expected the whole thing to be replaced. Very happy and impressed to be told that wasn't required. The jacket was fixed on the spot for a few dollars. Service was great and I'll recommend it to friends who have the same problem.

Have used these guys for a range of products from replacing vinyl on boat seats to a range of clears, canvas panels and repairs. Always been the quickest to be able to complete work, quality has always been good and priced more competitively than others. Will be back again

The service and quality of work I received were excellent.There was just a small miscommunication on both parties regarding pricing that has reminded me to always get your quote in writing. The owner called me to discuss it and he was very professional and fair when resolving this.At the end of the day the price was good for the great quality of work and service provided and I would definitely return for canvas work in the future.
