Waterfall Way Scenic Drive
Beautiful scenic drive with lots of waterfalls along the way. Hence the name: waterfall way. Be sure to stop off at the Dorrigo rainforest centre, to pick up track info about the various walks in Dorrigo national park. The rangers are also a wealth of useful info, including track closures etc.

Epic waterfalls and great national parks. Starts at Bellingen and ends at Armidale. Take your time and start early. Lots of other things to do, places to visit besides waterfalls.

Waterfall Way Scenic Drive
We drove from Armidale to Dorrigo and visited Wollomombi, Ebor and Dangar Falls. All the waterfalls were quite spectacular after the recent rain and within easy walking distance from the carparks. Unfortunately the road at the moment is pretty terrible with a lot of potholes. We found them difficult to avoid and our little i30 Hyundai has suffered some damage to our hubcap and possibly the suspension.

Currently extremely slow to drive with numerous and extensive sections of roadwork.If intending to drive the full length of the waterfall way, ie from coffs harbour to Armidale, plan for about 3 hours extra time than you would normally need, to accommodate road work...

Waterfall Way Scenic Drive
I wouldn’t tow a caravan up here that’s why I left mine back at Urunga caravan park. Very tight turns and some places you have to stop and give way because it’s only one way. Stunning views it’s just a pity you can’t get too close to the water fall along the way. There is a pull of section to stop and take a photo.
