MAC

Waited 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me, then we started my makeup 15 minutes late. I paid for an hour and she did it in 45 minutes. It was ridiculously priced - $120???? My makeup was also soooo bad, I can't believe how bad I looked. The foundation made my skin look so much darker than I am as well, this also happened when I went to MAC to have my makeup done the last time which was 5 years ago for my year 12 school formal. I thought they would've progressed since the last time but I think their foundation tones are just not dark skin girl friendly (I'm sticking to Fenty Beauty). There was also no contouring, highlighting or baking. My eye makeup was so basic I could have done it myself better. This was the worst my makeup has ever looked since my year 7 graduation. I didn't even want to take the $120 worth of makeup at the end, because I was just so upset about the way my face looked I didn't want the products that did this to me.

I had my make-up done by Beth about a month ago. I was lost with what I wanted but Bethany was both professional and friendly in a genuine way - so, so patient with my request as well. Highly recommend Beth in picking out colour combinations and assuring with any change of mind!Also, Carmella who was welcoming :) keep it up ladies!

Very bad customer service. Staff was very rude I brought something which i showed them online and asked about stuff for makeup i want to try she said she can’t apply on my face not even suggesting me anything.

Stopped in at MAC in Myer Rundle Mall on the run to railway station. Served by a gorgeous young gal called Claudia/Klaudia who couldn't be sweeter, more helpful and efficient. They didn't have my lipstick colour in stock so I will get it next time I'm in the City.

Unfortunately my experience at Mac stores is usually below average, in fact I prefer to do all my Mac shopping online, but I decided to come in to get my make up done for an event despite being warned by a few friends who had bad experiences. I got a Smokey heavy insta look for 120$ and it was incredible. I was not expecting it to be that gorgeous, it was exactly what I asked for and just so phenomenal it lasted all night long. I will definitely go back to get my makeup done in fact I can’t wait!

The staff yesterday were so rude, not helpful at all and came across as sarcastic when I asked a question. Just a bunch of young girls who think they’re better than everyone. The David Jones Mac is definitely better in terms of customer service and willingness to help.

Popped into Mac on my lunch break to pick a gift up for my sister and I was helped by a lovely lady named Beth. She was very professional and knowledgeable about the products she was selling, I received outstanding customer service and will be returning in the future purely based on the above. A wonderful overall experience.

Love mac products!! But the staff at the store are very unfriendly. I will just buy online from now on.
