To my displeasure, this is the only supermarket nearby my home. However i STILL actively shop absolutely anywhere else if i can help it. This store sells nothing of use, is higher in price than other IGA's i've been to, the staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. Constantly selling out of date food, closing the store at random times even though the door says clearly when it is meant to close. Honestly a waste of space, i hope in the future it is replaced by an ALDI or something similar, or gains new owners that make serious changes!!

Great Owners, had a great customer service experince on the weekend. He was kind and friendly. Great store full of fresh produce. Its an asset to have them in Ormond.

Some things are expencive but that's too be expected for a smaller name store compared to the big ones.They have a large clearance" section filled with expired foods

this supermarket is STILL ringing up items wrong on a regular basis, make sure you obtain a copy of your reciept and cross check against the stickers, prices are always wrong and you are always overpaying, and this is on top of the already eye watering prices. IGA where the the community benefits....... I think not

The base line prices are a rip off as it is, and even the marked down items and specials get rung up wrong. Been happening for years.Also watch closely for when they turn off the screen as they ring up items. Thats another thing they do a lot here. obvious

Honestly I wish I could love this place but I don't. They are good for a stock up of food in between bigger shops and they have a nice range of breads.I avoid the dairy here though, I've had several instances where the milk has turned sour just a day or two after opening it and once bought a tub of fresh cream that wasn't supposed to expire for another two weeks - opened it the next day and the whole thing was sour and smelt disgusting.I've seen meat on sale that was days past the expiry date too, though I've steered clear of it.

It's my local IGA.Whilst l don't weekly shop as l eat at my work places this IGA is great for Ormond .it's full of food and always fresh . Weekly specials too. It's not Coles and it's not woollies it's our local IGA. Please support .. friendly staff . Great specials and a new team on the front counter which is a welcomed addition. They are polite

A little over priced, but fine if you don’t have time to go elsewhere. That doesn’t bother me and I expect it from IGA. What does bother me, is how rude the older owners/managers are. The younger staff who work there are great, but the older staff are horrible. They can serve me and not even make eye contact, let alone say hello. Really terrible customer service. I was hoping with the new owner coming in, things would improve, but he is just as bad as the old ones.

I don't understand other low star reviews here, this little store has hidden gems of unusual food , along with general produce. I happily shop here instead of the bigger stores and , I find I spend less ! There is a small liquor section attached and it also supplies terrific wine and beers. There isn't any self serve , you get a staff member at the checkout
