Definitely worth a visit. Spectacular view, loads of turtles and cormorants. Great to see where the Brisbane river begins

Absolutely amazingThere is a small pool/lake right passed the spillway for when the dam gates are closed which is pretty private and cool but you really wanna go there when the gates are open

Great little hidden gem at the start of the Brisbane River. Bring your kayak.

A fairly barren experience. Reasonable views of the spillway. A few information panels. Additional viewing platform on upper level, plus stairs from carpark lead to a separate viewing area. No directional signage provided so you have to guess and explore.

Great feat of engineering when you consider the Dam also generates electricity for the state grid.

Nice to stop off for a look and not just drive by. The levels are low on the other side of the wall.

I first went there in 2007 with my paternal aunt, uncle and cousins. For the second time, I went there in 2009, for a year 6 water excursion. And for the third time, yesterday, Sunday, 28 May 2023!

Nice view of the dam and surrounding landscape. Good information posters about what is inside the wall and how it works.
