Disappointment and blackmail - Dynamik D ruined our wedding.My one biggest regret was trusting Daniel to simply play music at my wedding. He wasn’t cheap otherwise I could say, cheap and nasty. “I got you, I’ll look after you” was his sales pitch. After deposit, Daniel never answered our emails, and I was always following up. He refused to make a playlist for us so we had to make it ourselves. 5 days out from the wedding he asked if he could just play music off his laptop speakers for the outside ceremony. No, im not joking. When I confirmed that the large outdoor space would need proper speakers he asked for more money than the agreed price. For anyone who has planned a wedding you know it’s a stressful time, especially with finances. We didn’t have extra money so my brother had to play our ceremony music. My brother missed our ceremony doing Daniel’s job. Daniel later told me that his boss wanted him to work the day of the wedding (at his full time job) so he abandoned us to make a quick buck. During the reception he didn’t play more than 2 songs from our playlist. He went rogue and played 70’s music and awful songs. Even the fun drunk girls sat down at their table. Guests complained to us and Daniel’s Mum and I was so embarrassed. Daniel blamed the crowd when I asked him to please stick to our playlist that we spent months making. We hated the night so much that we ended it early. While my husband and I were waiting at the end of the sparkler “farewell” line with sparklers alight, Daniel comes up to asks and asks for his money. Again, no I am not joking. Daniel didn’t even complete the day he was paid for and my brother had to quickly find the farewell music on his phone to play. Daniel’s Mum was a guest at our wedding and like any guest was welcome to take pictures of my family, friends and special day. After two weeks I contacted Daniel if he could share the pictures and he said “you’re welcome to pay for them”. Against our wishes, he posted some online with our full faces and names for self promotion.
